It's not actually about detecting a spec but rather when you do it, without getting too technical, the addon only check when you log in / ui-reload. I'll probably look into it at some point, for now if you reload ui it will accomplish the same thing. Yeah, I figured that out. It's more a QOL change. Looking forward to it.
