There are ingame options (in Interface Options -> AddOns) to show/hide both raid and party frames, as well as showing/hiding the default blizzard frames.
There are also options there for moving castbars. Their positions are relative to their parent frames, but you can put them where you want :)

There isn't much use of a running total, unless its a running dps total of all the dots. That's what Combustion uses to calculate its damage. And it would be a pain in the behind to calculate.

I'm fairly sure they stack to the frames width if you use the option display them on top/bottom of the frame.
I can add an option that specifies a number (of buffs/debuffs) before they start stacking, if you need it (talking about right side now).
