Well, I've tried both methods repeatedly, and neither has worked for me, sadly. I am using Vista, and I'm beginning to suspect that is where the issue lies.

However, now I've run into a different problem. I'm trying to mute the Path of Frost sound in the game by creating an empty folder in the data folder with the sound name as the file. Unfortunately, my attempts at doing this have failed thus far. Any suggestions?
