Is it still doing that in the current version, or just the previous one? It sounds like just the previous one, I hope so.
If not, I'm going to have to rethink and retool the way I deal with sources and destinations, I think. It's a bloody awkward thing because with a number of spells, start lists the source (the player or whomev...

The Ice Block issue sounds very odd, I've put in a lot of checks to make sure that the source should be the player but there might be one logic element I'm missing. Let me know what your logs show and I'll look into it.
It's going to be especially interesting if it was due to another Mage casting Ice Block, I thought I'd put impl...

I've got up a new version, hopefully that'll fix the channel issue. Sorry about that.
As for Invisibility... they really fire two applied states for one aura before the removal? That really breaks the expected behaviour, because as you've said, the auras should actually have different names. An example of this is with Ritual of...

Worry not!
I was thinking of doing a version with a GUI, but I've long decided that if I do end up doing that, it'll be a different mod. Perhaps I'll call it Algebra... but I digress.
The only things I want going into Spelling are things that really are related to the mod. In fact, I had an idea from the start that I'd like t...

First off, sorry about the breakages in the last release... I won't get too much into that though because the ChangeLog covers that.
Next up, Spelling now handles all the neat stuff I was thinking about adding. My worry in regards to whether something should be success/applied was unfounded it seems, as applied works for 99% of s...

Hm, the channel idea is interesting. I could do that via a preferential system, for example:
/spelling add # raid or party or say #
So first it checks to see if the player is in a raid, since that's the first channel and therefore the preferred channel, and if the player is in a raid then it sends the output there. It proce...

Sorry about that, actually took me a moment or two to track down the reason bheind it, too. SavedVariables are odd. Suffice it to say though, it should now preserve style between sessions.

I have a few new plans for Spelling, which will arise in future releases. The only problem is that I'm not sure how to go about it yet...
I was thinking it would be nice to have a system where the player can specify that certain things should happen on a spell or ability's success or failure, or on the gain/loss of a buff or debu...

I thought that might be the case, it's because in the second example we're treating the SPELL_CREATE state the same way we'd treat an aura removal. Thankfully, no other states related to that spell fire after SPELL_CREATE, so that seems to be a safe thing to do.
That said, thanks for testing it out! I'm glad that most of the iss...

- Would be nice if you did.
I'll look into that.
- Oh, and if it's not to much trouble. Would you be able to add an option to switch between 56G 78S 90C and 56 78 90
Done.

Hm... if this is as simple as I think it is, all we have to do is account for SPELL_CREATE in Spelling's problematic states handling.
Could I ask you to do a little Lua editing and some further testing?
Open Spelling.lua in your favourite text editor to start out, then:
Find: problematic.SPELL_PERIODIC_HEAL = true

- Never used the AH without Auctioneer
Yikes, really? Wouldn't the memory consumption/CPU-usage of having that running all the time lag you like crazy? o.O
Regardless, I still don't see where the money's not being converted. The only money frame I see on the AH is at the bottom left in the oblong box, and that one's been con...

Definitely a good effort! I like where you're going with this, because we all know that the Battlegrounds could use better filters.
The only suggestion I'd have is to localise the elements you're using, tables like DT_BASIN could become local DT_BASIN, and functions like DT_SlashCommandHandler could become local DT_SlashCommandHa...

That makes it a good mod, if you ask me. The ChatFrame_AddMessageEventFilter function has provided many a form of handy utility, and this is another one.
I'm glad of the ComplainChat() change because even in my own mod, Civility, I point out that it should be primarily for gold-spammers or really offensive things (such as racial...

The CLEU is truly nebulous, isn't it? (I admit, that's now my favourite word for describing it, and figuring it out feels like poking through a foggy nebula.)
I'm not surprised by what you've told me, though. The Ritual of Refreshment is considered something of a combat element, because all food/drink is. I don't know why that...

It is? Bugger, I didn't know that's what Ice Block was... I thought it was similar to Ice Nova.
The problem is that I don't have a high level Mage, and considering that most of my guild is Tauren (no, really) and that I'm a casual PvE player...well, I'm sure the image comes together in your mind. I am clueless about classes whic...

This is better filed under RotFL, eh?
These little joke mods still make me laugh, but I just hope that no one ever gets hurt by them. On one hand, weasel's mod might get them in trouble for spamming (since those outputs do constitute the use of spamming by Blizzard's rules), but on the other hand, this mod might just as easily ge...

I don't see anywhere in the Auction House where the old format of text and icons hasn't been converted. Are you using a mod which heavily modifies the AH? If that's the case, then all you could do is ask the author of that mod to include the option to change the fontstring. Hijacking the output of other mods probably wouldn't make...

Nullus anxietas, no rush!
Icy veins is a buff, so if you're a caster you should be able to do it with something like:
/add icify # icy veins # 1 # say # HITNAME has Icy Veins.
If you want to set it up to notify that you've received the buff, the new SOURCE thingydoofer can cover that:
/add icify # icy veins # 1 # say # Ic...

You're right! How could I have possibly missed that? I was stoned tired when I uploaded it though, so I think it must just have been fatigue. My sincerest apologies to everyone I kept waiting. :/
The new version should be up soon, anyway, with all the fixes described!
Regarding the Ice Block example you described though; I...

Indeed, and now that Spelling seems fixed, the only way to go is up... upgrading that is! At least, once I've finished that aliasing mod for txxnnok anyway.
I think the first thing I want to add when I start working on this again is the ability to allow the player to do multiple lined entries, I think. That way a player could do...

Thanks to a tester (ladykey) and my own findings, I realised I had some more owrk to do with Spelling. That work has culminated in the latest release, a release which I just feel... better about. I'd say that this release has been tested to breaking point, but thankfully this one didn't break for me.
I suspect though that this w...

Eesh, the Flying Pasta-monster knows that I can obfuscate a bit on the best of days, so as someone who rarely makes sense theirself I can heartily say nullus anxietas, or... no worries.
As for the alias mod, I'm actually working on that as we speak. It required a bit of cleverness so I even wrote up my first library for it (which...

I'm glad that you find it useful. I really do like making things like this because it helps make the game seem a little less lifeless, and anything I can do in that area greatly improves the game environment for me, and apparently others to boot! If you ever have any ideas for other things like this, things that you'r...

Glad to be of assistance. If you find any issues or weirdness at all, let me know and I'll look into it. Even though my Druid checked out, I'm not 100 per cent on what I've done.

Looks like someone got the Guybrush Threepwood reference. Hooray!
