Re: Green, blue, purple
Posted By: VgerAN
The color of the text of the item shouldn't matter; the only thing that Pawn uses it for is to calculate an average gear level when hovering over the Pawn button on your or someone else's character sheet. In general, a blue level 200 item is not going to be as good as a purple 200 item. There aren't any 200 greens, but if there w...

Yes, compare your items' base values. They're perfect for gear comparison. The only time I recommend you do anything else is if you just won an item and you're wondering "should I equip it now or should I wait until it's enchanted and gemmed?" In that case, compare the current values of your two items, and if the new item's curr...

Can you post or send me one of your scales that isn't working the way you'd expect? (Click Export on the Scales tab and copy/paste here.) I'm trying to figure out what's going on here, but I don't have all the data; I can't see why Vivid Eye of Zul would be suggested because I don't know what value you have assigned to hit. But ce...

Ah, I see. I don't plan for Pawn to ever do anything like that. Pawn tries to avoid doing anything that's class-specific. Also, since Rating Buster does it, there's no real reason for Pawn to also do it.

Hi! Sorry, Pawn is not currently compatible with the Chinese-language version of WoW. I am, however, going to investigate some new possibilities that WoW 3.2 opens up that might make Pawn language-independent (or nearly so). I will work on this soon™.

The volume of Hear Kitty's sounds is controlled by the Master Volume setting on the Sound options screen. You can raise or lower the volume of other game sounds to make Hear Kitty's sound quieter or louder (relatively speaking), depending on your preference. Unfortunately, Blizzard doesn't offer any better controls for addon deve...

Something like that would be possible, but probably pretty far away. There are a lot of changes I'd really like to make that have much higher priority than more-than-two-column comparisons, I'm afraid. I do want to add the ability to stack items so you can compare two weapons versus one (for example), but it would still be a two-co...

That "used in outfit" line on the tooltip came from Outfitter, not Pawn. I still find Outfitter vastly more useful than the built-in equipment manager so I haven't given up on it yet. I don't have any plans to add a similar feature to Pawn; there just isn't really any overlap between what Pawn does and that feature, so any other mo...

Ah, yeah, I suppose such a thing won't work as expected with normalization on. Normalization takes the total of all values for all stats in your scale, and then divides all item values by that amount. That way, only the relative values of your stats matter; a scale of (Stamina=1, Intellect=5) is the same as (Stamina=100, Intellect=...

Apologies for the problem; I think that 1.1.13 should solve it for everyone. I can't check it out on any REAL characters as my realm is still down for maintenance, but according to my level 1 alt on Mal'Ganis everything works smoothly again.
