I guess this could be viable for the main tank and his designated healers. by means of setting someone as your target/healer so it shows a seperate bar for their distance to you or somehow showing it on your own bar instead etc.

I don't get this, is it like a button or something? because WoW logs to a file anyways, and if it's not default I think it's enabled via /chatlog . Same goes for /combatlog.

You know, this was the only thing that got be bummed about switching from CowTip to TipTac, the loss of talents showing. Sure tiptac showed the actual point distribution (12/47/789430 blah) but I really don't care about it and sometimes it's hard to know exactly what spec that person is if you really only care about your own class....
