The "out date" really means nothing, just click the select box to Load Out of Date in the main WoW AddOns Control panel and things will work fine.

Go into "Configure" from the Browse, Appraiser, or Post frame, select "Tooltips" from the menu, and select the option to Display ScanData information. That will not only show you the auctions you have up, already, it will also show the current competition, colored by price level....
