Just a quick note to let you all know that the Release is up on our main site at http://auctioneeraddon.com/dl/#release .
We will be pushing that out to both Curse and WoWInterface tomorrow, but just wanted to give everyone a heads up who wants it a bit earlier.

Nah, that bit is correct; the biggest change is the way that global variables are handled changed from WoW 3 to 4. As noted a few times, the actual data is the main issue and that will not be ready until December, and we have many other tasks to attend to until that time, so look for the updated GathererDB_Wowhead after Cata...

Open up your Gatherer report UI and enter some text, like Arathi or Iron into the search bar at the top of the Gatherer report/database view. You should then see the data that is in the local database; there was nothing in the update that would have removed any of the previously-saved data.

The reason for this is pretty straight forward; the locations of the nodes have not changed since then.
Once there is a re-arrangement, as is forthcoming with Cataclysm, we will put out a new version. The same goes if any new areas are added before then, which, although highly unlikely, could happen.
