Oops, I added an additional frame for the background, to allow better control and borders and stuff. I never use horizontal mode myself, so forgot to test it!
The bar itself still works horizontally, just the background doesn't!
edit: Problem fixed and new version uploaded. :)

I'm editing the code for a new release right now, so I'll make that change in the released version for you.

Any chance we'll see visual improvements such as making it look like Blizz's casting bar or something like that? (always customisable, of course)
You can make it look pretty similar to that by turning it horizontal and sizing it as you want.

Ok, I figured it out, what was causing the threat meter to not stay put.
It occured whenever the user was also running a viewport mod, as I was saving the position relative to the screen, but setting it relative to the viewable area.
Lesson learned and problem fixed!

Odd. I had that happen once myself, but only once. I'm trying to figure out what could be causing it. Hmmm, will try more tests.

I can relate, there's a real lack of quality guides out there, and the good ones aren't easy to find.
For Lua itself, I found this really handy:

This is 3 years old but has has some quality info in it:

The idea of this mod is great in principle, but you need to allow better configuration (not just open the LUA file and edit) and more instructions.
Also you NEED a warning that this mod will change the game resolution and an option to not do so.
It really screwed with my UI by resizing the screen, causing stuff to overlap horri...

I've noticed the same issue with font sizing, seems the properties are not saving or applying correctly.
I'm also getting LibJostle error messages every few minutes.

Finally found the time to get the coding finished.
Quite happy with the vertical bar managing vertical statusbar textures, though for now I've limited it to a subset of the sharedmedia textures, as I have to rotate them manually and include with the distribution. :)

I've gotten about halfway through coding a new version of STM from the ground up, using Ace3.
Changing work has meant I just don't have anything like the amount of time in WoW that I used to and playing in a couple of raids a week has taken precendence over mod coding.
It will be back though, I still personally miss my nice lar...

I know this isn't much help, but I am finding that some of my characters have full tooltips working for everything and some don't.
At some point I guess I'll go through and check if there's a specific mod that is enabled or disabled for the ones that have blank tooltips.
Might shed some light on the situation.
P.S. Awesome w...

Nice. Good ideas and well implemented.
If you could get font sizing sorted, it would be awesome!

Hey, the current release was going to support switching between horizontal and vertical modes! Turns out this doesn't work as easy as I thought it would in the libBars library, but either way, it should be included soon.
-- edit -- I didn't get this finished currently, so have released the other changes I have made, as they're wor...

Huge apologies to all those who have been waiting for an update.
Real life kinda side-swiped me for a few weeks, but I'm looking at this now and halfway through re-coding a MUCH BETTER version from the ground up.
It's looking pretty good right now and should be ready for upload soon.

I'm working on an update, that I'm coding most of those buggy routines from scratch again to work properly, and I'll upload with the full required libs also.
I'm leaving this available as a good number of people are able to use it ok as it is.
Apologies for delays, I've been off on holidays. Hoping the update will be soon

That's the key bit right there.
Take a look for WhoLib on files.wowace.com

Waiting for SVN access at wowace.com to upload there.
Have uploaded TankPointsFu here in case you want to add it to the list of FuBar addons. :)
