Since pre-WotLK dungeons and arenas have no map coords, TR cannot function. So when a zone change event fires TR checks if you have map coords and shuts it self off if you don't.
There's some zones that let you travel off the map to where you have no map coords and this tricks TR into disabling. SotA and VH come to mind.

Then WotLK came and made such a addon functional in instances. :)

edit: I found the blinking name bug. It's due to LibNameplate hiding the name region thinking it's the mouseover region. It does this to prevent false positives in the mouseover GUID detection.
