I hadn't seen any cross-realm PCs until LFD, so it hadn't occurred to me. Now that I know why it's there, it makes sense to me, anyway. Hmm.
Is there a trivial hack at the initial time of filtering for something to the effect of "IsUnitAPlayer()"? Pretty sure all players, and no non-players, want the hyphen-stripping.
(And I...

I'm not going to be fiddling around with the text more than I already am. I may as well write a total quest tracker replacement instead of an enhancement.
Having done one, once, let me be the first to congratulate you on stepping back from that yawning abyss.
I dunno, maybe they made the API suck less since then, but I sorta d...

I'm getting the same nil thing around line 96. It seems to happen to me when I'm talking to a quest giver who has at least two quests on offer.

I think I forgot to report this, but I'm pretty sure it's MSBT doing it:
When killing a mob with a hyphenated name, I get a message to the effect of "Killing Blow (X)", where "X" is the part before the hyphen. So, if I were to kill a "Thin-Skinned Forumposter", I'd see "Killing Blow (Thin)".

I found a way to bug the mail tracking.
Try to send mail to an alt who can't receive that mail from you (say, an heirloom item to a toon on another account).
Altoholic records the mail as being sent, but it doesn't actually get sent, of course.

This may be a dumb question, but:
Would it be reasonable to suggest not showing the "who has this" tooltip for Hearthstone? I'm thinking that I don't actually need a list taller than my screen of alts who have a hearthstone.

Feature suggestion:
Exclude "Hearthstone" from the alt-inventory-count tooltip.
It turns out: Yes, I know. Everyone has a hearthstone.

I got curious, and after studying the blizzard quest frames for a bit, I've implemented line spacing controls.

Is there a way to collapse blank lines -- to strip all the extra vertical space?
The other feature I'm curious about, which I want in every quest tracker, is the ability to make the quest text not intercept mouse actions, so I can click through it -- I often have a big chunk of screen tied up with my quest tracker, and I dislike l...

I definitely see the stuttering. I'd been using Broker_CPU, and that seems to be able to update its memory statistics without a stutter. I dunno what causes the stutter; it's a pretty noticeable pause, though, every few seconds. And the thing is, I really do want the data to update automatically. I just want it to somehow do so w...

I was messing with Stomped Shear, and ChocolateBar can't turn on or off some of its modules. There's "TCT" and then sub-modules like "TCT Parry" or "TCT Hit". In Button Bin, these show up separately, but in ChocolateBar, they don't seem to.

Doesn't play well with newer AckisRecipeList, because AckisRecipeList.ScanButton may be nil -- it doesn't get populated as early.
My solution:
1. In the event handler for TRADE_SKILL_SHOW:
if (not IsAddOnLoaded(k) and reason ~= "MISSING") then
LoadAddOn(k)...

In sortings other than "Default Sorting", items with colons (such as "Wormhole Generator: Northrend") show up without the text after the colon and with no valid link/reference/mats/etc.

I would love to see an option to have the tracker (except for the buttons) be completely click-through -- then I can have it on screen, taking up as much space as it wants, without losing the ability to click on mobs or turn my camera. I rarely want to interact with the tracker; I often want to interact with the screen. However, ev...

My idiocy is revealed: The reason I wasn't seeing some of the tiptac stuff is that I had somehow undisabled flagRSP's custom tooltip. Telling it to use the standard tooltip fixed everything.
... The reason this is stupid is that the last four or five times I've had tooltip addon problems, it's been the same thing, and I never le...

Confirmed that I still can't make "disable tracker interaction" work -- I haven't narrowed it down very far, but it looks like the test for "if not self.disableinteraction" or something to that effect that decides whether or not to enable mouse clicks is the culprit. But I don't see why.

I'd also be interested in an option to toggle whether or not to see cross-factiion stuff -- I usually don't care about cross-faction money.
