TLDR

Achievementizer helps you choose and manage achievements and gives you a lot more information about them. It enables you to see which of your incomplete achievements are the most popular and improves the default tracked achievement list. It also allows you to see how you compare to other players. My hope is that this helps you with collecting achievements, making it both more fun and efficient.


Getting started

Install the addon like you normally would. When you log in you will see it building up its database of achievements. This happens daily for both factions so you always have up-to-date information, even on patch day. Play like you normally would and the addon will gather popularity information automatically from the players you interact with. As it gathers more data from other players it will provide you with better and better information regarding the popularity of achievements and how you compare to others. To keep its data fresh and manageable, it will automatically delete* data that is older than a week and limit itself to 1000 players.


Features and usage

- List the most popular incomplete achievements



Not sure which achievement to go for? Type "/ai" or hover over an achievement category in the achievements window and try one of these. The percentage indicates how many players in your sample have completed it. There is a good chance that you will find some easy achievements here that have escaped your attention.
Tip: Left clicking an achievement in the "/ai" list will open its description and right clicking it will track it.
Another tip: Hold shift on top level categories to limit the achievement suggestions to just the top level and hold alt on any category to limit them to accountwide (so alt friendly) achievements. Holding both works too.
Last tip: Type "/ai alt" to see the most popular incomplete accountwide achievements. Your alts can help you with these.
To turn things around, you can type "/ai done" to see a list of the least popular completed achievements. These are the achievements that really set you apart.


- Improved tracked achievement list



You can track achievements like you normally would. However, now there is no more limit on the amount of achievements you can track and they use up less space on your screen. Simply right click an achievement to stop tracking it. Achievements start out collapsed to keep a better overview, but with shift click you can expand them and get an overview of all incomplete criteria. No more awkward scrolling the criteria to find out what you are missing. Another shift click will collapse it again. You can also expand achievements with timed criteria and see the seconds remaining (if applicable).
Note: Tracked achievements will expand automatically at appropriate moments (e.g. an achievement to win a battleground in x minutes will automatically expand when the bg starts).
Since 1.0.3: Now you can also get information on hidden criteria. Since these have no texts it can only show you how many you have completed and the total needed.
Since 1.0.11: Now you can also see counters and percentages for achievements with multiple required quantities, like Impressing Zo'Sorg. These are hidden in the default UI.


- See how you compare to other players



Typing '/ai' also gives you a summary of your data and how you compare to it. How many points do you have and where does that rank you in your sample? How many do you need to climb up a spot? Are you in the top 5%? What does your sample look like? You can also mouse over another player to see how they compare to your data. In this case, the percentage x means they are in the top x% of all players in your sample. So more achievement points result in a lower percentage here.


* Due to being aggregated data that cannot be identified with individual players or moments it will 'guess' how to adjust popularity data, which may lead to minor temporary inconsistencies.
