RillyClean UI

Version: 3.3.7
by: emilywind [More]

Note: For the full experience, please download the Textures and Fonts pack.

This addon is a modern update to the default UI, adding things such as 3D potraits and removing clunky elements such as action bar borders. It skins default UI elements through texture replacement and small bits of efficient code meaning low resource useage.

Key features:

  • Allows moving the action bars vertically and cleans them up, allowing the standard action bars to replace your complicated WeakAura setup for tracking CDs if you want.
  • Enhances the default castbar in appearance, and allows you to set the offset of it from the top of the action bars.
  • Optionally show a small icon for your loot spec in your player frame, so you don't accidentally loot the Great Vault or your mog run boss in the wrong spec.
  • Anchors tooltips to your cursor when out of combat, otherwise putting them in the usual bottom corner spot.
  • Comes with fonts that make the game feel a bit less robotic and more fun, including a much cooler damage font.
  • Allows customisation of some nameplate options, such as showing level, abbreviating NPC names, and class colouring the name text of friendly players.
  • Allows hiding Alt Power or Stance bars if you wish.
  • Some quality of life improvements for PvP, such as tab targeting only choosing players, a timer for your arena queue, and a display of the dampening %.
  • If you're a Mythic+ player, it will put your keystone in for you automatically.
  • Configure UI elements the way you're used to from using the default UI. Right click and unlock player frames, configure nameplates/action bars in the usual spot in Game, use Leatrix Plus to manage your frames accross account, and so on.
  • Everything is global, so no need to reconfigure for every single character you log into, or even other servers.
  • And more...

Commands:
/rcui - Open options panel. Available via Interface -> Addons -> RillyCleanUI as well
/align - Alignment Grid for positioning things (courtesy of eAlign Updated)

I play all roles and most classes, so it is targeted towards all classes and roles. Feel free to tweak it via settings and other addons. Settings can be accessed under addon settings or by typing /rcui in the chat box. Have fun!

Addons I use with this as my core UI that you might like include:
  • Leatrix Plus (Change + manage positions of unit frames, buffs, etc across account, as well as other improvements)
  • WeakAuras - Import various helpful things from wago.io, or make your own little mini-addons with a visual editor for the less code-savvy.
  • Inventorian (Bags as single window, aka inventory)
  • BasicChatMods - Configure chat box to look nicer
  • Details! (Damage/healing/etc meter)
  • sArena (Improved frames for arena)
  • World Quest Tab - Much nicer addon than WorldQuestTracker

3.3.7:
Added new custom font options
Added skinning for Loss of Control frame
Fixed issue with tainting raid frames due to event used to skin them
Fixed issue where Store and System buttons wouldn't show up when not hiding the micro buttons and bags bar

3.3.5:
Improved XP bar with rested xp display and tooltip
Fixed issue where action buttons are not interactable when there is an extra action button displayed
Fixed issue where bonus objective icons would be improperly skinned

3.3.3:
Add new PvP configuration section
Configuration option for arena numbers on nameplates instead of enemy name when in arena
Option to show reduced width friendly nameplates to help distinguish friend vs enemy in arena and reduce screen clutter when using friendly nameplates
Add programmatic styling of Raid Frames
Add programmatic styling of Party Frames
Add option set to default for programmatic addition of RCUI fonts
Various programmatic texture replacements to simplify the amount of texture files needed
Many new configuration toggles

2.1:
Improved action bar appearance (bigger buttons with less margin)
Fixed issue with Target of Target portrait not showing
Fix target of target health/mana bar alignment, and layered it behind the Target frame to avoid a strange overlap
Character models will no longer do their idle animations and go out of frame when using 3D portraits
Minimised code repetition with new global skinning functions
Start of bringing in textures from Interface into code for an eventual Addon-only release

2.0:
Fixed issue with a missing global
Smaller loot spec indicator
Fixed issue with width of the target health bar being slightly off
Added Fonts folder with nice fonts

9.1.5-2:
Fix Tooltip layering and flickering issues
Added functions to Common.lua so that things should actually work

9.1.5-1:
Fixed issues with Blizzard's new NineSlice GameTooltip
Added proper tooltip skinning reworked for the new system

Fixed sizing issue with combat border for unit frames.
More reasonable position for pet frame.
Better position for pet name above pet frame.

9.0.2.10:

9.0.2.4:
No longer tracking AP for characters above level 50.

9.0.2.3:
Much improved nameplates (recommended to use large nameplates)
Afk screen upgrades

Hey dude got any feedback regarding this "issue"? Thanks a bunch and have a great day.
Hi again! I put this one off for a bit because of time constraints and that it's not super straightfoward. However, since I use BigDebuffs as well I figured it was time to get to it, so in the latest version (9.0.2.10+) you will find that things look much nicer.

Awesome! Thank you so much.

Also on curse, you say to download the full version from GitHub is it different from this?
This will be the same as the GitHub version as it includes the textures. Curse only allows things that go into the AddOns folder so I have to advise them to download separately.

Haven't had any issues with unlickable action bars, but I also do not click anything outside of the action bars on the right side of the screen; I have binds for everything at the bottom. If you can at least share a screenshot from when the issue happens, I might be able to replicate it.

From screenshots, your bars are a lot higher than what they come up on mine as they are near the bottom.
I love having them higher eg your screenshots as it makes it easier for me to counter.
Hi there. To get your bars higher, you can adjust the "Action Bar Offset" value in the settings (higher offset = higher on your screen). The settings can be found under Wow Menu -> Interface -> Addons tab -> RillyCleanUI, or accessed via typing /rcui in the chat.

I play at 2560x1440 with a UI scale of 0.75, and I use an Action Bar Offset of 110.
thansk heaps

Love the cleanness of it otherwise.
Some option for the action bars would not go astray unless they are there and I cant see them lol.
I personally hide the stance bar because I just put the forms or w/e on standard bars with keybinds and use that. It's part of my preference of cleanliness.

That said, it was semi-trivial to add an option to show them, so the latest version has a box you can untick to show them within the action bars area. Cheers.

Great UI

Didn't know this existed, what a great surprise! I only have a request/feedback. Would it be possible to make BigDebuffs look better? It doesn't quite look good with any portrait type
