I'm very proud to present you my personal user interface.
As you can see it is based on the Caith UI.
I'm using it with a screen resolution of 2560x1440 (27 inch).
and its optimized for DPS and TANK spec.

1440p version since 8.0!
1080p not fully supported - see workaround in changenotes





The installation guidelines are in the YuluUI.zip

1080p is no longer supported natively. For 1080p you can use v7.7.3 or try this workaround:
Type the following into the chat if you're using a screen resolution of 1920x1080:

/run UIParent:SetScale(0.5333333333333333)


Unfortunately you won't achieve pixel perfection and there are texture glitchs, but so far I haven't found a better solution.

HINT:

Since I switched to a WQHD monitor (1440p), this is the last version with 1080p support.
The next update with 1440p support is already in the works, but I can't say at the moment whether it will be compatible with a resolution of 1920x1080.
You can still use this version, if necessary you have to update your AddOns if there are problems.

When the 1440p version is ready, I will check if simple a "port" is possible.
If this turns out to be too complex, I don't have the time to work on an independent 1080p version.

I am aware that many of you are still playing with a resolution of 1920x1080, but everything is evolving and so Yulu UI has to take this step now.

At this point I would also like to thank you for more than 5000 downloads. :)

Are the fonts you are using for our name, target name, cast bar etc. the same as old caith?

What are they called?

That is correct. There was a profile for Vuhdoo in this UI-package before, but I removed it because it was broken. I've left the kgpanels for it in case I'm going to to bringt that VD-profile back.

The shadow-panels are basically a border around the frameborders with a low alpha value, so it looks like a shadow around the frames. It also makes the frames more "smooth".

I hope you don't mind asking questions in the comment about Kgpanels.

I am trying to identify each panel to replicate the border from the UI.

I can see that R_UF_ etc are raid frame ones , a_GD_AF_1 etc are Gladius ones.

Are the aa_VD_RF for vuhdoo frames?

I played around the kgpanels config and noticed the shadow frames didn't do anything, is it okay if I just ignore them?

I will be trying to replicate your UI in elvUI.

For me, Glamour 4 is looking like this:



edit: Just redownloaded SharedMedia from Curse and it seems like the texture was changed. Don't know if this is an error or not, you have to ask the author of sharedmedia.

edit2: OK...I'm really confused now. I redownloaded an older version of shared media (from 2009) and there are not the same glamour textures in there too. They are the same as the one that you show.

It is possible that Caith has created his own textures and just renamed them Glamour1...2...3...4 etc.. As I was rebuilding the UI in Warlords of Draenor times I must have copy that textures and they are still in this paket ... lol. Just take the glamour4.tga file from my interface-paket.

You are using another screen-resolution. I'm using 2560x1440 so you have to move some UI elements by your own. First you should hide your chatbackground (the blue one)

Time is a weakaura, but it seems like you already found that out by yourself.

Check if the default profile in BigWigs is loaded, if not, change it to default and try again.

You can switch the addons to your favourite ones but you will need to set them up by your own then. For Skada/Details: The kgpanel is attached to the Skada frame. So you have to anchor it to DetailsFrame.
Check /kgpanels config and search for panels called Skada_Border and Skada_Background. Modify the anchor and parrent frame in the options.

I am having a problem with the time on top right corner. Is there a way to move it? I tried the option in BasicMinimapOptions but to no avail. Edit: The time and calendar is a weakaura. Solved.

I have loaded the profile correctly for bigwigs but when I tried the testbar , the bars aren't identical to the one in your video vs Mythic Maut.

One last quesiton is there a way to replicate the action bars with bartender and the damage meter with details instead?

Really love how you put everything together.

Oh, sorry Raven Rounded is the border-texture. The statusbar texture is called "Glamour 4". I think you can get it with SharedMedia.

Do you mean the unit frame texture or the border?

I downloaded "Raven" and cant fint a texture named "Raven Rounded", only a border named "Rounded".

I wanna know the health texture, to be clear.

No it is not the original Caith one. It is called "Raven Rounded" (from the addOn "Raven").

Hi. What you see in my screenshot is realized with WeakAura.
It is supposed to show a display for the most important buffs/dots etc. of a class. Since I'm currently only playing the enhancement shaman, I only have the buff display for this spec ready.

BUT:
You can easily create your own display:

Just copy the WeakAura group "SHAMAN_Enhancement" and change the triggers to match your class/spec/buff/whatever.

If I have the time and the desire, I'll create this ad for other classes, too.
