Buff Overlay  Updated Today!

Version: v11.8.2
by: clicket [More]

Buff Overlay

This extremely lightweight addon was created for people to quickly and easily see defensive cooldowns active on other players so they can adjust their gameplay accordingly. It does so by placing the cooldown's icon on the unit's raid frame while the buff is active.

By default, all immunity and damage reduction abilities have been added.

Type /bo or /buffoverlay to open the options panel or /bo help for more info/commands.

I've changed my mind and added the option to increase the amount of icons you want to display with v3.0. Enjoy.

The latest release does have a priority system though, so buffs that you want to show more often can be put higher on the spell list.
I know your intentions. thank you~

It's just a bright flat texture.

You can find the files on my github.

https://github.com/clicketz/files

Just put the "RaidFrame" folder in your wow's interface folder.

Getting this error. It happens when you target a raidframe and this raidframe has a buff from buff overlay up. When you click the overlay icon directly.

maybe useful additional info:
happened in a battleground (only seen it there yet)
player infight

Code:
2x [ADDON_ACTION_FORBIDDEN] AddOn 'BuffOverlay' tried to call the protected function 'TargetUnit()'.

non-error related:
would be cool if you can add survival of the fittest ability from hunters

Spell Id for Beastmaster and Survival: 264735
