This is the official version from kiki. (see download page at http://christophe.calmejane.free.fr/wow/gem/
I've left the 2.32 in archives if people prefer. Although, without looking I suspect the changes will be quite similar (only so many ways to cook a chicken, or something).
2.35: (Official release)
- Official release from kiki
2.32: (More 3.x problems)
- Corrected problems with scrolling lists
- Corrected problems with events with one of your chars in.
- Corrected UI (drop down menus)
2.31:
- Corrected original 3.x changes for channel problems only
If you find new bugs or want to help fix the taint issue, please use my own forum (http://christophe.calmejane.free.fr/wow/phpBB2/) in the GEM dev or support section, and we'll work this out.
I'll focus my time on GEM3 to get the chat/sticky/alias and stuff working asap, so that everybody can move to GEM3 instead of maintaining this old ugly version of GEM
If you are missing other features from GEM2 in gem3, please let me know.
(please edit the download with my 2.35 version, except if you find it too buggy compared to yours)
Pete- The author of GEM, Kiki, helped me make a version of GEM2 - GEM2.35 - that works with WoW3.02 for use by my guild alliance. He does not want it released to the public, apparently; he wants people to migrate to GEM3.
Leave a message with him. See if the two of you can get together. Perhaps he can hand off the GEM2 development to you, so that there won't be two or three different versions out there for WoW3.02.
GEM2.35, the version I am using, is causing some taint issues with certain dropdown menus, such as when a player uses the drop-down menu on the target frame to set that target as the focus. We haven't noticed any other issues (and the one I mentioned is easy to work around, by setting the focus with the /focus command or a keybind instead of the dropdown menu).
After correcting the chat problems with GEM I've noticed there are also UI issues too. Hopefully I'll be able to solve these too, unless the author does so first, of course.
