I was looking around for archaeology addons, but there were none that I was in love with. So naturally, I decided to write my own.

When you mouseover a progress bar, it will show you information on the artifact your currently working on. If you click on the progress bar, it will link the item in chat, that way you don't have to go digging through a loot addon or wowhead for the link.

type /starch to toggle the window.

v1.2b - Re-released v1.2, stMedia is back in the package, and hopefully keystones work properly (currently unable to test this)

Hello there, since 4.0.6

Since 4.0.6 the addon have stopped to add keystones. will there be a fix for this?

one could easily be added in the lua, although I don't have any plans to add anything in game to scale it. To do it in the lua, add this at the very top of the file:

Solving Issue

I just finished getting enough fragments to solve the puzzle for the Clockwork Gnome. However, the solve button will not work. It worked on a few other puzzles though. I'm thinking it might be due to the fact that the puzzle has 3 keyrings, but I only have 1 runestone. The solve button displays Solve (1/3) and does nothing when I click it. Had to solve through the default Archaeology window.

Hmm that's a good idea, right now the tooltip is colored blue for rares, but the text would probably be good too.
When you double right click it casts Survey, similar to easy casting with FishingBuddy. =] it also pops up an indicator if you have it enabled that shows you a circle with the yardage in it and it turns green/yellow/red according to how far away you run. As you can see the fragment window is pretty obnoxious. It would be awesome if you could incorporate a second window like Archy's location window. It tells you where it is and what faction the digsite is and also it tells you how many digs you've made there.

I currently use both your addon and Archy. I'd love to be able to use just yours. I use the digsite window along with the double right click feature and the survey indicator on Archy.

What does it do when you double right click? (I've never used archy :P) I'm probably gonna reskin the entire thing to have a black transparent background eventually.

This is hands down the nicest looking archaeology assistance addon. I would love to see you take this further and make it as good as Archy as far as features with this same basic look. It's gorgeous .

If I could suggest a small change, if you are currently on a rare make it change the text color of the type to Blue etc.
