Patch 1.13.3: World of Warcraft Classic
For a full experience with AbyssUI, download AbyssUI_TexturePack.

AbyssUI is a minimalist World of Warcraft interface. It changes parts of the interface so you can have a more customizable and clean UI. The goals was to have a high customizable interface, that changes little to the wow artwork/functionality.

Hi, I'm Yugen (Brazil), and I like to do this as a hobby (I did spend too much time editing textures tho lol). Always check the FAQ, change log and the comments section before asking/report something.

PS: AbyssUI is lightweight, it will not make your PC/Game slow. For comparison, Windows Notepad use about 2MB of RAM, AbyssUI uses 400/500KB (idle) up to 800/900KB (40+ raids) and almost nothing of CPU. Also AbyssUI will mostly not conflict with any other AddOn or UI (rare to happen), so you are free to use a lot of modifiers.



FAQ
- Some texture are looking/acting weird?
A: This could be caused by Blizzard default textures, or even my UI textures got corrupted, the first thing to do is to play the game in full screen and disable UI-Scale (if enabled). If this doesn't fix the problem you need to delete all AbyssUI files and textures (fresh install), and re-install the UI. If the bug persist report it to me with a screenshot, it's easier to find/understand the problem this way.

- Texture/Image is not right or cropped?
A: Change to full screen and disable UI-Scale (if enabled). If this doesn't work, delete all the textures and the AddOn and re-install the interface from "zero". I change textures sometimes, if you just replace folders it will not work very well and textures could overlap, you need to do a fresh installation unfortunately.

- Portrait textures are not working, or seems glitchy?
A: You are probably using a old texture version of AbyssUI, you need to download the new AbyssUI_TexturePack (from wowinterface) and things should be fixed.

Please Report any bug.

Go to the Interface folder and remove the textures you want, the folder "TargetingFrame" (inside the Interface folder) is the one that have mostly of the unitframe textures, but don't remove the files that have "UI-CLASSES-CIRCLES" in the name from that folder, they are the portrait textures.

target of target retain the dark colorization because it's just a texture, I can't change the color directly in the game.

About the BFA action bar, I unfortunately can't do that, action bars are super glitchy. But I believe you can use some addons that change just the action bar, probably no error will happen.

PS: you can remove any textures you want so you can go back to the original blizzard silver color. It's easy to know what textures they are by the name of the folder.

Is there anyway to remove the natural "darkening" effect that is present on the action bar button borders and overall UI? Even if you change the frame colorization to "Blizzard default", the buttons and some frames like the character pane still maintain this darkened state/border, and it also blocks addons like masque from working as well (like for example if i wanted to use a caith masque button skin with abyssUI).

You can hide the bags(micro menu), but I didn't add the textures to be hide, I will create a new option to hide the textures of the action bar. I can't make it to look exactly like retail, because action bars are my nightmares. lol

PS: The option will be on the "Themes" tab.

Any plans to allow hiding of the bags and micromenu (and the associated textures)? I see the retail version does this, would love to be able to do this in classic too.

hm, I'll take a look into it, may take more time than I was expecting. I will try to add guild to the tooltip too.

Hey Xeldheir, I noticed that the tooltip takes a while to appear when you are in dungeons and that item loot drop show up (looks like it's not updating fast enough, and have too much mobs to interfere on it), maybe I can fix this until next week.

In the last update I add a option to remove the transparency while moving. Go to the configuration panel, and uncheck "World Map Fader" and reload the UI (/reload).

By nameplates you mean the UnitFrame healthbar? Because it should be green/blue friendly nameplates.



If you want the healthbar green go to AbyssUIClassic_Functions.lua in the line 113. As a quick fix change:

If anyone could help me with this, it would make this UI set absolutely perfect for me.

I'd like to keep the friendly player nameplates as just universally green instead of class colored. I like my enemy nameplates to be class colored only. It seems this compilation changed even my friendly nameplates to class colored.

What do I delete or modify in order to achieve what I'm seeking?

Yes, I'm having some problems with this, idk why it keeps resetting, sometimes it work others not, you can use ModernQuestWatch for now and hold alt and move the quest frames (I did some workaround with that addon).

No ETA yet for this to be fixed (and to the guild name on tooltip, tooltip is always kinda weird to work with it). Also I'm working in the party frames to be unlocked on the next update. Also I need to understand some others things that I need to change for classic.

Hello fateforbreakfast,

you should be able remove the map modifications if you uncheck them in the configuration panel "/abyssui config" -> Miscellaneous -> uncheck "Better World Map" then /reload. If this is not working, I will look into it soon.

About the numeric, you probably have the blizzard option to show status text at both on Interface -> Display

ps: I understand what did you mean now about just numeric. I may add a option for that. Right now I need to fix textures and some others minor things first, maybe next week.

Map & Unitframes

Hi! Love this UI. But I would like to know if there is any way to remove the world map modifications? Also I can't get it to show only numeric values on Unit Frames, it keeps showing both numeric and percentages. Or if not remove, could it be possible to configure these?

Weird the tooltip is just fine for me, can you test it with just my UI running? Maybe it's another addon.

The map fade I will change it. I will create a option just for that. Some options I have to look deeper too.
