Broker_WorldQuests

A data broker plugin that shows world quests in list form, so you can quickly find the ones that are worth doing.

This addon does nothing on its own! You NEED to have a data broker addon like ChocolateBar installed!

Highly recommend using it together with Better World Quests.

Features

Shows World Quests when hovering over the data broker block
Swap between expansions via the buttons in the top-right corner
Right-click the data broker block or click the cog icon to access the filter/settings menu
Filter quests by reward, type, faction, active bounty and more
Sort by quest reward or time left
Clicking a quest opens the world map for the specific zone that the quest is located in and highlights it
For TomTom users: clicking a quest can also add a waypoint (cleared on arrival or logout)
Shift-clicking a quest will track it in the sidebar
New quests will have an indicator in the list (for 15 minutes or until relog/reload)
Bounty display and indicator on quests that count towards active bounties
Paragon reputation bars

Missing quests for the following achievements are highlighted with the quest title in green:

Fishing 'Round the Isles (Legion Fishing)
Battle on the Broken Isles (Legion Pet Battle)
Battle on Zandalar and Kul Tiras (BFA Pet Battle)

I get this same error. After completing a world quest, mousing over the World Quests block gives me the same error, and the addon will not function until a reload.

Fixed in r6, thanks for the report. I should have gone out and actually complete a world quest after the extensive changes from last version, sorry.

Thought about sorting them after reward type, seems to me to be the most useful other than maybe time left. Will get something like that in before launch.

Another feature suggestion: Menu: Always show quests for: - Court of Fardonis - Dreamweavers - Highmountain Tribe - The Nightfallen - The Wardens - Valarjar This would work like the "Always show quests for the active bounty" except it would also work for when that rep isn't the bounty. This is handy if you're trying to do all of the WQ for a given faction for rep purposes (e.g. The Nightfallen to unlock dungeons, or The Wardens to unlock the Blood of Sargeras shoulder enchant at Revered). I used StatBlockCore when I started developing this addon, and also tested with it just now and seems to be working for me. Can you be a bit more specific what's not working?

I used StatBlockCore when I started developing this addon, and also tested with it just now and seems to be working for me. Can you be a bit more specific what's not working?

First things first, I know it's installed properly, it shows on my addon list to enable/disable at character select, however, when I log into game it does not show anywhere under interface, it's not listed under SBC where most of the broker addons fall under, nor does it appear alone on the list. So it's installed, but it's not showing up for me to setup with SBC, nor is it on my screen anywhere.

I was so excited when I saw you made this addon, I'm sure it's something on my end if it's working as intended for you. I'll have this afternoon again when I get off of work.

Thanks for the addon, and for the help.

It's called just WorldQuests in the list if you maybe missed it because of that. Other than that this sounds strange, on install it should show up in the middle of the screen normally like any other broker plugin.

Do you get any LUA errors? You can enable them by pasting the following script in the chat box:
/run SetCVar("scriptErrors", 1)
(You can disable them again by putting in 0 instead of 1)

Ohidosee A Murloc Raider Forum posts: 9 File comments: 33 Uploads: 1	Ok, not sure what it is. I'm getting no lua errors, and it's not showing up when I esc, addons, interface under SBC. For giggles and grins I deactivated SBC installed Chocolate bar and it works... there has to be something goofy going on with my SBC. It's the current version so I dont know what it could be. I'll have to mess with settings and try to narrow down the issue when I have more time, but thank you again for your work and assistance.

I shut everything off except SBC and B_WQ and nothing still. I nuked my saved variables for SBC, and it showed up... i hate that I have to set everything up again but there was something obviously conflicting in there that I just cant explain.
