Cyui v4  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 4.6
by: kryo85 [More]

Cyuiv4.6

New version available, compatible with patch 5.0.4!

Starting from version 4.3, addon specific skins will not be defaulted with the ui. You can look here for a addon that will skin all the major addons available: Tukui & ElvUI Extra Skins
Maintained by Azilroka, Repooc and Darth Predator, members of the Tukui community. Also, requests to skin any addons can be made in this thread.

Cyui is a module for Tukui. It uses the Tukui engine to run, and re-skin Blizzards' default interface.
Cyui was designed for 1680*1050 and above resolutions, and requires a bigger than 1280*900 resolution to run smoothly. Lower resolutions may run, but are not supported.

INSTALLATION

  1. BACKUP your Interface and WTF folders
  2. Download and extract Tukui to WoW/Interface/AddOns
  3. Download and extract CyUI to Wow/Interface/AddOns
  4. Restart the client, make sure both Tukui and CyUI are enabled on the addon management page
  5. Log your character, and follow the onscreen tutorial
If you're upgrading from v1 to v2, please perform a CLEAN INSTALL, remove or backup your WTF folder as well as the v1 CyUI folders.
If you're upgrading from either v1, v2 or v3 to v4 it's not necessary a clean install, but it is recomended that you perform a /resetui after logging in for the first time.

If you're referring to the whole ui, in config.lua set autoscale to false and tweak the uiscale
Code:
TukuiCF["general"] = {
["autoscale"] = true, -- mainly enabled for users that don't want to mess with the config file
["uiscale"] = 0.71, -- set your value (between 0.64 and 1) of your uiscale if autoscale is off
if you're referring only to the unitframes, then you'll have to edit the layout.lua in dps and/or heal folders to make the bigger.

Also, is it possible to make the rep bar visible all the time instead of having to hover? [/b]

Actually it doesn't. Because TukUI doesn't support it, it will from time to time pop up and annoy the shit outta me becuase it'll keep telling me over and over again that I don't have the right resolution. I can't play when it's popping up in my face like that all the time lol

So I guess I can't use it, until that thing is removed, and the UI supports my screen res, which I doubt is beneficial anyway, since most people have larger monitors, and most people disregard people who don't... but it still would be great if it did work with my screen res. It's not practical to go out and buy a new monitor even if I had the money, because I don't actually need it. This one works fine.

Love this UI, though as a healer i like to see more color but when i disable the "Enable Unique color theme (gray health bar)" the background of my unit and target frame can't be distinguished from the health color. Is this a bug by chance?

I am having this same issue. I have not been able to fix it in the LUA...I will post in the thread over at the TukUI forums as well.

Code:
["unicolor"] = true, -- enable unicolor theme (don't change, not fully working atm)
I know the colors are messed up, but since i don't like my grid displaying colours, even when healing, never got to fix it. It's on my todo list though, but i don't think it will be implemented with the v12, since tukz is releasing the next version soon, this will be released when i update the edit to v13.

Seem to having issues with the Healer setup. When I join in the LFG or any Battlegrounds, I get no party frames at all. When I invite someone on my friends list it shows up no problem.

Edit: Seems to be the Grid portion causing the problem. As long as I disable the Grid Only while in Healer Mode I get the frames that mimic the DPS layout.

Grid option is for the healer setup only, not dps. You need to enable the healer mode (/heal) to be able to use it, like in this link http://goo.gl/h4fXC

I have the setup in healer mode. When I have the grid only in healer mode enabled however, there is no grid at all. Even if I have the grid only in healer mode enabled and I type /uf to try and locate the frame it is no where on the screen, as if it doesn't exist. I have to go into the Unit Frames portion of the in game config and disable the "Grid Only in Healer Mode" option. After that I get the unit frames along the left edge of the screen that mimic the DPS layout only they are bigger with health deficient as per most healer unit frames.

Edit: Im going to keep toying with it to try and figure out when it is and isn't working. Been using Tukui since its original release and loving it, your edit has only increased my love for this compilation. This is perfection for a player like me. Thank you for it

Edit 2: Okay so I found the issue though I have no idea how the two options correlate. I dislike the 2nd action bar at the bottom so I disable it. If you have the options set to only have 1 action bar at the bottom while in healer mode the Grid no longer functions. Maybe an anchoring issue? I suppose I will have to leave the 2nd action bar enabled on my healers.

Doh -.-
Fixed in the next release. Anchoring on the heal layout was on the top bar panel, not on the bottom panel.
Change
Code:
if TukuiDB.lowversion ~= true then
	raid:SetPoint("CENTER", TukuiActionBar3Background
, "TOP", 0, 105*TukuiDB.raidscale)
else
	raid:SetPoint("CENTER", TukuiActionBar3Background
, "TOP", -33.5, 105*TukuiDB.raidscale)
end
to
Code:
if TukuiDB.lowversion ~= true then
	raid:SetPoint("CENTER", TukuiBottomPanel, "TOP", 0, 125*TukuiDB.raidscale)
else
	raid:SetPoint("CENTER", TukuiBottomPanel, "TOP", -33.5, 125*TukuiDB.raidscale)
end
Or download the next version

Question: Minimap

Does the minimap style all of the potential icons that get put on it?

For example, I use WIM with every UI I ever use. It creates a minimap icon that sits on it, for accessing Whispers visually. Does it style that?

The reason I ask is because... I hate the default Blizzard design for the bordering around the icons that go on the minimap. If it's not styled... is there any way I can request it?

Great UI, the only problem I have with it which I can't figure out how to turn off is this glowy yellow shield that pops up when I get into pve combat on my priest. http://i53.tinypic.com/2dj6qkp.jpg
