Auto Buy Reagents

Auto Buy Reagents is a simple mod for World of Warcraft. The mod buys class specific reagents for the user when talking to a merchant capable of selling the reagents. This mod buys up to a number of reagents specified by the user and only buys more when there are less than the number specified. All classes are supported as the mod is dynamic and adjusts to the class being played. There are still a few bugs and may not work properly all the time, this is expected to be ironed out in the next couple of days. The mod has a simple user interface that you can access with /autobuyreagents or /abr commands.

What this mod does:

Buys a number of reagents for class spells/abilities.
Keeps that number of reagents in your inventory at all times.
Ex) I want to have 40 arcane runes at all times, I use 15 out of my 40, the next time I talk to a merchant I'll buy 15 more runes so I have a total of 40.
Simple interface to easily adjust values.

Things to do:

Document code.
Fix minor errors
Create a Fubar extension

This mod does not require any Ace functionality to work, I merely put it in the wrong category. There is a mirror image mod under the standalone/inventory category now. At no time will any Ace mods be required for either.

--Window users only--
You'll see an additional directory in the zip file if you are a Windows user. This is a hidden file that my Mac puts in it's zip files. Do not put it in your addons folder, it is not required for any functionality. It's just a settings file that Mac's automatically put in zips. Sorry for the confusion.

0.87 Beta - Fixed a minor syntax error.

0.85 Beta - Added support for 99+ reagent buys. An error that occurred when the mod attempted to buy more than 20 reagents has been fixed.

Crap, didn't know it did all that. Sorry for all that got confused and dropped some stuff where it probably shouldn't of. I just used the built in zipper on the my Mac. I suppose it did some extra stuff that I didn't want it to. I can't see any of this in the zip so I do apologize. I'll try to find an alternative zipper and rezip to see if this fixes the problem.

I noticed it drop'd files into both the root /interf/addons dir and made another dir. /plugins. that was the first thing i noticed and why i looked closer at it. No, that Mac dir thing isn't required. I don't know why that's being put in the zip, I use Mac OS X but it shouldn't be put into the folder.. This buys up to an X amount. So if you want to have 40 of a reagent at all times, and you've used 13, the next time you talk to a reagent vendor you will buy 13 more reagents. I'll try to change the info to make that a little more clear.

Thanks for reminding me of that little feature, I'll use that for poisons until if this is able to do so as well. __________________

Requests? Sure! I love requests. lol Thanks for the compliment, and as far as rogue poisons go... Since they're crafted, and not bought straight through the vendor, I decided not to include it. I'll look into a method of including it, as for right now I suggest ATSW for rogue poisions. ATSW stands for Advanced Trade Skill Window and can be found http://wowui.worldofwar.net/?p=mod&m=2092 there. ATSW basically replaces your basic trade skill window with a spiffed up one. I use it to queue up the number of poisons I want on my rogue and then later buy the mats from the merchants and craft them.

Like I said though, I'll look into it. Not promising anything though.

It's a coding issue, I'll put it on the to do list and have it changed for you in the next release. I thought 99 reagents would be enough, but obviously it's not.

Edit: Patch 0.85 changes it so you can buy as many reagents as you would like. Enjoy.
