  • OLD: This version is no longer viable!

Latest known versions of WORKING for BETA addons (at time of uploading) included.

  • Fix: Returns the QueueStatus (LFG eye) button back to it's proper place. Because it has a different name it will require a full reset for each character to get this to happen.
  • Fix: Chat frame positions should remain fixed after portaling etc.
  • Fix: Some other bits
  • Known: There are errors (purportedly from Prat) when setting options in the Chat menu. These shouldn't have any effect after Reloading.

Options, select Reset, click Yes and then /reload.
10.0.0 Beta 4 - 20/11/2022
  • New: Re-introduces AutoBar (Evokers do get a class bar but there's nothing on it ATM)
  • Fix: Scaling of Dominos
  • Fix: Some other bits
10.0.0 Beta 3 - 19/11/2022
  • Fix: More fixes and bits (still more to do but getting there :p)
  • Fix: DUF: The default Blizzard party and partypet frames should no longer show when grouped... attempt 2 :o.

  • Note*: You might need to do a full reset (which will loose any custom settings) by clicking the Reset button in the FauxMazzle Options frame and then reloading.
  • Fix: Wrestling the taint giant (fingers crossed we've gotten most if not all in the FauxMazzle code)
  • Fix: DUF: The default Blizzard party and partypet frames should no longer show when grouped (I haven't had a chance to fully test so confimation of it working (or not) would be greatly appreciated :cool:).

Hopefully there won't be too many issues left, or at least not big ones.

The lastest reset if really just to get the new QueuStatus button back into place which wouldn't be noticed unless you queued up for instance, world quests etc.

Thanks a lot for the Chat fixes, I just noticed them myself as I created an Envoker late last night.
Prior to this I did not need to run the reset of config as my old character was functioning out of the box with the update.

I will continue to keep an eye out for potential issues with the pack as I continue to play

Thank, you for reporting this.

It should only happen when using the FM Chat config. options (as far as I've seen) and shouldn't effect FauxMazzle (or anything else) once you've finished with the chat options.

I haven't had a chance to dig out wether it might actually be Prat. doing something wrong, me doing something wrong or both (or possibly another addon) banging up against Edit Mode in what's becoming these days a battle to be last hook in the chain.

As it is, it's pretty low on the "things-to-do" list and most likely won't get looked at until after the XPac goes live and we see what is actually in the release UI. That and Blizzard are looking at making Edit Mode changes but we haven't gotten an idea of the "when" yet (it may not be untikl 10.1 or 10.2 or ...)

If you do things like portal, use the Bastion teleports etc and use the heartstone in your bags or utility actions like sprint, ghost wolf etc. you run into the wall of taint that is the new UI where pretty much everything is deriveed from and/or touches one of more protected frames or functions.

It's better than it was but has a long way to go.

Thank you for giving it a test edoras. Hopefully some beta/PTR builds will start to work through some of the taint issues to where FauxMazzle is more sustainably usable.

Thank you for the encouragement Dorana.

I had started on a whole new UI for myself and then some beta/ptr releases started joining some of the gaps up.

Maybe one day I'll get back to the new UI .

Let me be the first to make a comment here and express how happy I am to see that the compilation and graphical components of this pack is in beta development, as a addon developer myself I know how much the new UI and namespace changes with the dragonflight release.
