What is FauxMazzle?
FauxMazzle is a look and feel tribute to MazzleFizz's once great MazzleUI that sadly didn't make it out of The Burning Crusade... the original Burning Crusade that is.

Fix: For change to the gamge API causing FM to think the addons it uses were all missing or disabled. I noticed this yesterday but haven't had a chance to find a cause. Probably used the wrong frame name for it in the default setup. I'll try and fix it today or tomorrow.

I had considered working toward my own replacment for Mapster as it has "shrunk" in features since it's original form. Then again, I don't play Classic either (I do still enjoy Vanilla though).

I'll probably try to get a Cata version out later today (Oz time) without the "broken" addons.

This is not the same as "the Blizzard API is exactly the same in every version of the game client". It isn't and probably never will be.

It just means that addon authors are incorporating wrappers to handle the differences in a single version of the addon ie. a new client version (Cata in this case) and a new set of wrappers have to be created for the new differences and tested.

This is how the core (my bit) of FauxMazzle works but because of all the additional addons (some being seperate versions for each client) all being at different stages of readiness (if they get updated at all, some authors stop when they've had enough) then FauxMazzle will always be behind on launch day.

ATM I'm waiting to see if Mapster, Pawn, Recount and XLoot get updates (Recount usually takes a while).

Edit: I missed the bit about the chat lock, sorry. Will try and fix that for the 10.2 actual release.

Many, but mostly #%$@ Blizzard because they gave it a completely different name to the one used in retail so I didn't realise Wrath had the LFG system in place.

I was planning on updating all versions of FM post 10.2 once most of the included addon have been updated if it can wait until then?

It looks like a few more things from retail may have been rolled back into Wrath.

I'll put together a build with the working addons I can find and upload it a bit later today.

A new version of Autobar was in Curseforge today, but I think some changes to mazzification need to take pla ce or something is wrong with Autobar.

Hey Bremagorn, I did notice.

Open the FauxMazzle Options frame, click "Addons" (make sure AutoBar is a green book, if not, click it) Click the "Defaults" checkbox, select AutoBar, Click the "Reset" button. Reload.
If you log back in and the bar is too big and not quite in the right place, log into another character and run the process again.

I'm not going to fight with AutoBar again, it is the biggest PITA every single update.

Worked like a charm. Do you have a Cashapp or Venmo? I'd like to buy you a cup of coffee or something
