Darkmoon Professional

A simple Data Broker Addon that keeps track of whether or not you've done your Darkmoon Profession quests for the month, whether you can (your skill is high enough), and whether you have the right items with you to do the quests.

v 9.0.1.1 - Updated for Shadowlands - adjusted deprecated API calls and adjusted quest requirements from level squish.

v 8.2.0.2 - Fixed error when changing continent/instance with minimap icon.

v 8.2.0.1 - I'm back! Updated for BfA. Added minimap icon and slash command toggles as well as updated for the professions rehaul.

v 7.0.3.1 - Updates for Legion. Quests now marked when ready to hand in. Fixed bug where progress of Test Your Strength wouldn't show.

v 6.0.3.2 - Fixed bug where the quest "Rearm, Reuse, Recycle" would not be listed as active. Added Den Mother's Demise (Moonfang's Pelt) quest.

v 6.0.3.1 - Fixed bug where quests were no longer listed as completed. Added Cristoph VonFeasel quest.

v 6.0.2.1 - Version Numbering changed to easier show which game version it is made for. ToC updated for WoD pre-patch.

v 1.1.0 - Added Daily Tamer Quest (Jeremy Feasel) and "Test Your Strength" (Grisly Trophies) Monthly.

v 1.0.1 - Fixed Item ID for the Cooking Quest.

v 1.0.0 - Initial Release

Barleduq Premium Member Forum posts: 135 File comments: 742 Uploads: 0	Oh, and one annoying thing No matter where I put the DMP minimap button, even setting it to not show up, it always comes back to the same place after reload/relog - which just happens to be on top of the mission table button. I may well be failing to do something to keep it in place, but none of my other addons do that, so I'm hoping not. -Barleduq who used to have them all tucked away, but that's not working anymore. Still here! Will look to update this shortly - from what I looked at on the Beta it should be mostly functional beyond not properly detecting whether the Faire is open, so it shouldn't take too long (fingers crossed).

Looking forward to it! And any other of your addons that I find useful!

Anyway, the sad truth is that I haven't really been playing WoW for a good year or so by now and don't really see much in BFA that's about to bring me back. I'll try to post something official over the weekend on both my addons, but I'm definitely open to others taking the addons over and making them usable in the new APIs (and continue development).

Oh, I'm so sorry to have flaked!

I never saw this reply, for some reason, even tho I can see that I got a notification by looking at old mail.

So I turned Darkmoon Professional on again. All the errors I'm getting are through a new window that I haven't seen before (which I think might be a default blizz window?) It gives me four errors:

It also gives me 16 errors for Ace3, with no other reference as to what addon was calling it. I honestly have no idea where to report those, and I use a LOT of addons. If you want to see them, also, I'll be happy to recreate them.

Thank you so much! I hope you're getting all you need out of your WoW break. If you're not coming back, at all, could you *please* let us, your adoring public (;p) know, so I can look for other ways to get this info in-game? Or even find someone to take it over. (I'm not a coder; I tried to look at lua, and gave up after failing to understand anything. And I took programming classes when I was in college, lo these too many years ago.)

I'll look into it. The addon does keep track of whether the Faire is up anyway (through the Calendar). =)

Glad you like it. =)

I hadn't found an addon to help me keep track, so I figured I might as well take a stab at it myself...
And the Mild Spices were a major brain-hiccup that I didn't catch until the Faire was actually open for me to do the quests. So I fixed it as soon as I could once I noticed that.

Any feedback, criticism or ideas for how to improve is as always most appreciated.
