SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years

Silenced

Can't seem to filter Silenced - Counterspell Silence or Silenced - Gag Order by the spells list, although I think you can do it by the filter list

Using it on white list mode

Seems to be anything with a '-' in it

No, it's just a bad habit when it comes to typing.

I also reported a rather Major bug (as in everything has stopped working) on the 'bug report' feature.

What was the filter you tried to define?

If you're comfortable with editing the saved variables file, just search for ["filters"] until you find the filter section with the filter you tried to put in, and delete that line. Or just delete the saved vars and start again.

Edit: Ah, I bet it was one of the Silenced spells. I see the problem. You can work around it by just filtering on n~silenced for now. I'll fix the problem for next release.

I seem to have encountered a rather fatal bug at start up, so the addon itself won't even load. Here's the error:

Only two things of note I did was to delete the old savedvariables file and remove embedded libraries, if that might be related.

Apart from that, I have a suggestion that might or might not already be in as I haven't gotten to test it yet. The ability to filter buffs and debuffs cast by my pet. This being pretty useful on the Malygos encounter, keeping track of the engulf debuff.

Awesome addon, and best of luck getting all the glitches out

When you make a new frame, you can't select it from the Drop down menu, therefore making it impossible to alter anything about it (You can shift click the set of buffs to select it though).

Button Facade doesn't seem to 'stay' on your buffs outside of the config option, where it applies to all the 'fake' buffs fine

When I try to copy my settings from another frame using the drop down, I seem to get this error

I need to spend some quality time with ButtonFacade in beta, yep. At the very least, the frame names need to be used in the BF configuration

Okay some more clarification. At first when I had it setup, BF refused to stick to any of my frames out of config, so I ended up relogging, and I found some strange behaviour... it's sticking to certain buffs only O_o;

I'm a long time user of SBF and I'm very happy to see development continue. Thank you.

The first problem I noticed is only cosmetic; The tooltips for "Blacklist" and "Whitelist" under the General tab seem to be reversed. For example, the tooltip for Blacklist reads 'Blacklist means "show me nothing except what I say to"' but this is the opposite of the behavior. The write up on your survival guide is correct.

I noticed two other issues but I'm not sure if they can be reproduced.

- I have Frame 1 set to show my buffs (no debuffs) as icons only. I have the frame set for 48 buffs in 12 rows, thus it's four buffs wide. The buffs run left to right, top to bottom. While setting up other frames, frame 1 would reset itself to the default of 10 rows which, on my set-up, pushed a whole column off the right-side of the monitor. It seems that as long as the last adjustment I make to any frame is to set frame 1 to 12 rows, then it's alright.

- I have a frame set to show debuff bars on my focus target. I have significantly shortened the bars from their default value. Initially, everything looks good, but when the first bar expires and falls off the second bar will take it's place as expected but will have the default bar length not the length I specified for that frame. Reapplying the offending bar's debuff will shorten the bar to the designated value.


I hope my input has helped you further develop this beautiful mod. If my explanations of the faults are unclear please let me know and I will try to explain them in a different way or capture screenshots the next time I notice them.
