NOTE: This UI is designed to work based on my own preferences and conditions first and foremost, which means

Resolution: 1920x1080
Situation: PvE (10/25-man Raid)
Role: Rogue/DPS

Using this package under different conditions may or may not result in a horrible looking UI and/or require additional configuration.

NOTE: If you are not using this UI for a Rogue, you should active ClassTimer and deactive ChronoBars in the Addon listing at the character screen. I have not set up ChronoBars for any class other than Rogue. You can easily set up ChronoBars by yourself if you know what to do though.

I will not include any addons that I do not use myself. Requests of this sort will be discarded.

Issues

Updating PhanxBuffs manually will most likely result in a different look than the one included in this package.
As this UI is setup for rogues in particular, there may be some power (holy power, runes etc) and/or pet issues for the other classes.
If you come across an error or issue please let me know by posting in the addon comments.

Installation notes

Backup (really; Backup! Backup! Backup! Backup!) your existing WTF and Interface folders in your WoW directory, then remove them.
Unzip/unrar DevlinUI5-r2.rar and place the containing Fonts, Interface and WTF folders directly in your WoW directory so it looks like this.
\World of Warcraft\Interface
\World of Warcraft\WTF
\World of Warcraft\Fonts
*** Remember to do the following steps for EACH account/character you want to have this addon-pack installed for ***
Open the WTF -> Account folders, and rename the "Account name" folder to your own account's name.
(example: Devlin)
Open the "Account name" folder you just renamed, and rename the "Server name" folder inside to correspond to your server's name.
(example: Outland)
Open the "Server name" folder you just renamed, and rename the "Character name" folder inside to correspond to your character's name.
(example: Devlin)
Launch the game.
When in the game, it will look like a total mess. Don't worry, it's fixed with one simple command!
Type:

/reflux switch DevlinUI

Sounds to me like you haven't renamed the UI-folders properly, or that you have conflicting settings stored somewhere. Best way to solve it is to make a clean install of the package, and make sure you do it from scratch, by following the installation instructions.

I saw in some youtube videos that the pitbull health bar can show the HP in Values and in %. How can i do it? 2. the CaelNamePlate here is totally different of yours.. I think it is because i had it installed before a get your UI.. i tried to /switch but it doesn't work. How can i edit the name plate to it looks like yours? Thanks again Devlin! Heya!

There will be an update for 3.3.5. However, as I am european I haven't received the patch yet. You'll have to wait one week at the minimum, as we get the patch next week, and perhaps more time depending on how fast the addon authors manage to update to 3.3.5. It's coming as soon as possible though!

To address your questions in order:

1) The Youtube video is outdated, as I made that one in the early stages of developing DevlinUI4, and it will be replaced with an updated one soon. You will see HP in both percent and exact values if you hover over the unitframes with your mouse.

2) That your caelNameplates look different from mine is probably because of older settings that linger around still. There's a little "quirk" with caelNameplates, and that is that all modifications and settings are made by hand in the /Interface/Addons/caelNameplates/ folder and files and not in the WTF-folder. So if you update the addon through Curse client or the like, you will most likely see my settings disappear.

The best way to get it back as it was is to simply delete any currently existing version of caelNameplates, and copy the caelNameplates folder from the DevlinUI4.rar and install it to /Interface/Addons/.

As much as I would want everyone to be able to use this UI at any resolution I simply haven't found an easy enough way to be able to adapt the UI to each resolution. One way of solving it would be to manually set it up for each resolution available, but as you might understand that would take quite some time and effort from my side, which is something I don't feel is justified at the moment.

Perhaps when we see WoW 4.0 patch applied I could take my time, as I will try my best to deliver an even greater UI, that is fully compatible with leveling and questing as well as raiding, to prepare for the launch of Cataclysm.

That way I can work faster with trying to get it working properly again! What I'd like to know: Which addons are broken? Are some elements or textures distorted/broken? Any specific (new or updated) element in-game that DevlinUI does not include? And finally, if you have any suggestions to the above questions, feel free to post them as well!

Thanks alot for your interface i found it very useful and optimal for my raids and pvp. With 3.3.5 we faced few new problems , bigwigs outdated, chatter gives error also grid moved out from the box but i even i moved it back it doesnt show debuffs in ruby sanctum. in bugsack getting only one message:

However, there are some features yo have that I would like to use in my current UI. Which fonts are you using? Can I take them from your download and install them seperately? Also, I see you use Omen and what appears to be Recount's damage screen, how have you managed to skin them (or make their backbrounds, title bars transparent). Also, could you post your PitBull4 configuration, I'm loving your unit frames When I can afford a decent laptop with an 18.4" screen, DevlinUI will definitely be my first port of call. I would like to port it to other resolutions as well, and I will likely do that once WoW 4.0 (or whatever the pre-Cataclysm patch is called) is deployed on live servers. I will try to optimize it further for leveling and questing purposes. I setup Skada and Omen by simply adjusting the respective addon's background transparencies. I do not claim rights to anything within my pack. People are free to download and dissect my UI as they wish. Recognition is always nice and appreciated, but the real praise should go to the creators of the fine addons I use in this UI! Set up is quick n easy and it looks cool. Never been a fan of skada so went for recount instead and sorted the colours for it to match in,overall it gets 10/10 from me, love it.

I remember using the old versions of your UI back in early TBC when I first started raiding on my rogue. I loved it back then, and I still find it awesome. I made my own UI for healing purposes, but I keep going back to your UI packs no matter what version and changes there are It honestly feels like it's made to suite my personal needs which I have yet to experience with other UI packs. Great work! 6 out of 5 stars!
