InFlight

InFlight is a simple taxi flight timer mod that lets you know how long it will take to get to your destination. Other mods may provide a similar feature, however, InFlight is a lightweight alternative that, in most cases, is leaner, faster and uses a lot less memory (which is the main motivation behind InFlight).
Classic version here

Features:

Take-off confirmation
Many customization options for the look of the timer bar
Support for Druid-only and some other special flight paths
Already has most flight times
Learns new flight times or updates existing flight times when taxis are used
Flight times added to tooltip on flight map

How to Use:

InFlight is LoadOnDemand to use less memory when not needed
'/inflight', right-click on the timer bar, or check interface options to customize
Shift left-click and drag to move the timer bar

How to Contribute:

Updating flight times data - submit the file '<WoW_Folder>/_retail_/WTF/Account/<Account_Name>/SavedVariables/InFlight.lua'
Updating detection of special flights (only repeatable ones): report the gossip text (text you click to start the flight) and the location text above your minimap
Updating or adding translations for a language

Features That Won't Be Implemented, So Don't Ask:

Detailed tooltips and connect-the-dots
Show known/unknown Flight Masters on map

I was just curious because for me it says that i got hundreds of flighttimes which could be uploaded but these never appear automatically after updating the addon. So how does this work? The addon is ready for 10.0.2 but i still have missing flighttimes for shadowlands. So havent these been provided by anyone? Or does the update-system not work? (maybe just for me) Please help me out

Zaralek Cavern. The problem is the start and end flight points are on different maps, and InFlight cannot find the data for the node on the second map. line 588 taxiDst is nil, which causes the error line 328 taxiDst = GetNodeID(slot) -- this should have set taxiDst, but failed line 42+ GetNodeID only checks nodes for one taximap, i.e. the one returned by GetTaxiMapID() Last edited by brykrys : 05-05-23 at 02:07 PM.

ill look into this, i did not intend it for classic versions but i most certainly can try to bring it back to life for you

this of course would be greatly appreciated. this is the original wow classic vanilla. is there any previous version that may work? i remember using this 2 years ago in wow classic vanilla

ill go through the archives and see which will better suit you then mod it to your current builds, will that suffice for you my friend
