I was hopping for some additional features though, like moving and resizing the frames. Is there some way to do it?

I would try the move anything add-on...then use the frame info on it so you know what the name of the frame is. Once you have the name of the frame just type it into Move Anything and it should show the frame you can then custom out to your needs.
