Features

Built-in queue for creating multiple, different items
Queued items are saved when you log out and are restored on log in
Automatically buy reagents for queued recipes when visiting a vendor
If you can craft a reagent needed by a recipe, then clicking on that reagent will take you to its recipe (same features as Reverse Engineering)
If the item to be crafted requires a minimum level to use, that level can be displayed along with the recipe (disabled by default)
The shopping list of items needed for all queued recipes for all alts can be displayed at banks, auction houses, or from the command line
Items needed for crafting queued items can be automatically retrieved from your bank or guild bank (by using the shopping list)
User editable list of notes attached to reagents and crafted items
Queued counts added to (optional) notes display
Crafted counts can be adjusted with Right-click and Shift-right-click on the item icon in the detail frame
Recipes can be filtered by name, whether or not you could level when creating the item, and whether or not you have the mats available
Sorting of recipes (name, difficulty, level, and quality of crafted item)
Tracking inventory on alternate characters
Plugin support for (limited) modification of the Skillet frame by other addons
Custom grouping
User managed Ignored Materials List

FAQ

What are the numbers in the middle and how to hide them? - It's the number of craftable items using reagents in your bag, bank, alts. Right+Click on the bag icon to turn them off
How to search in the item name only? - Start your search phrase with exclamation mark: !ink
How to search in Auction House? - Alt+Click on shopping list
How to retrieve items from bank? - Turn on "Display shopping list at banks"
How to turn off Skillet temporarily? - Shift+Click your profession button/link. It also works for View All in your Guild Tab.
How to use Enchanting Vellum? - Right Click on Process/Create/Create All button. You create only 1 enchanted vellum, repeat to create more
How to paste a recipe in the chat? - double click on the recipe list

I should have been more clear in the write up, time for some edits I guess. I'm not taking over ATSW, this is a brand new mod from the ground up.

The reason I started was not that ATSW has been abandoned, although I have not seen any activity from Slarti on any of the sites I hang out on for quite a while. Rather, I wanted to write a mod of my own, and since there were some things I think could be added to ATSW, I decided to use that as my model.

I sent a message to Slari when I started writing this asking if he would mind how similar the two mods are right now, but I never heard back from him. That's when I started coding. Now that I've got a basic mod up and running, I thought I would release it and see what the reaction was while I am working on the shiny new features.

To be clear, if I was not looking around for a project to keep me busy, I would still be using ATSW myself, and I expect it to keep working for quite a while.

No major errors, but it doesn't work with the Quartz tradeskill plugin. If you haven't used it, Quartz adds up the time to craft everything in the queue (say 12 bandages) and counts them down on the casting bar with a spark until the timer bar reaches the end. When crafting with Skillet and Quartz the cast/timer bar texture stays full and constant and the seconds increase per item. Hmmm, never played with Quartz before. I took a quick look and it seems like my mod is doiong a bit more than it really needs to when it starts crafting items. I'm going to dial it back a bit in the next revision. That seems to get Quartz working for me.

I don't think I could actually go back to pre-ATSW. That being said moving forward to an ACE version, i.e. Skillet, is a logical move. Many thanks for making Skillet. As far as features go it appears to be fully functional and working wonderfully and, believe me when I say this, I have a LOT of addons, so I cannot currently see any conflicts or clashes with a quite huge selection of other addons. A tiny request (I hope )... I love the "Hide uncraftable" checkbox. Could that be saved as a profession specific (and obviously character specific) setting. I'd like to filter my cooking for example as I'm skilling it up but want to see all items on my 375 tailor. I'm glad its working out for you. As for the feature request, I think making the "hide uncraftable" and "hide trivial" check buttons persistant on a per-profession basis should be possible. let me play around with it a bit tonight and see if I can get that working for you.

When I push create all the addon automatically starts crafting, but after 2 items it stops and I have to clear start queue to process the rest. The same happens if I push queue all and then start queue; it stops after 2 items and I have to push start queue again. 2. If I push create all twice, it will queue items twice, even though it already knows how many I can craft. 3. If I push the 'D' button to remove something from the queue, it is removed from the list but the crafting process continues as if nothing happened. If I close the window to stop it, an error message pops up.
