sRaidFrames  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 78742
by: Saroz [More]

sRaidFrames was designed to replace the raid frames provided by CT_RaidAssist.

They share the same look and feel of the original frames, but are highly optimised and even include extra features such as aggro highlighting and display of PVE critical abilities.

Wish list

- I'd like to be able to mouseover a buff in a frame and see the time remaining for that buff.

- I'd like to be able to disable the group labels when the expansion direction is down.

- I'd like to be able to scale the group labels, either separately, or along with the frame scale.

Filter groups?

Is there any way to filter groups from the displayed frames in the current version?

2 Suggestions (please!!! please!!)

1) add an extra definable alert similar to debuff coloring to indicate when a need extra attention, based on definable debuffs. I'm thinking something similar to how we can type in names of buffs for the buff filter, let us enter a manual list of debuffs that cause the frame background to go white (or some other color). As an example, during the Maexxna encounter, every 40 seconds 3 people get "Web Wrap" and will need special attention (extra healing). If their raid frames went colored when they were web wrapped, the healers could (clique) heal them very quickly.

2) add a timer system to color the frame borders based on HoTs cast. for example, If I cast (clique) Rejuv on a unit, start a timer and turn the border purple for 12 seconds. If I cast Regrowth on them, turn the border green for 21 seconds. if both get cast, either flash between the 2 colors, or just set the color of whichever will expire first, then switch to the other. This would help keep track of stacking HoT's, since the game won't tell us if the hot buff we see on a unit was cast by us.

From looking at the settings available, I think most of the code for these features is probably already in there

I second that, on those suggestions...

Basically what Trimble said, we need timers please! When you mouse over the HoT's or the buffs, would be great to have a timer that shows how much time is left.

Great job though still overall!

I recently started using this, and I absolutely love it.

Only one think is keeping it from perfection.

Toggling the display of the raid frames doesn't toggle the frame titles. I always see "Group1", "Group2", etc.

Huge issue, you cant target a frame with sraidframes, to make it your own target. You need to get the beta version at http://www.wowace.com/files/ to make selecting frames work.

Firstly can I just say what a great mod. Raid frames have never looked so good

One small suggestion, Is it possible to add snap frames to fit? It takes for me anyway a long time to get all the raid windows lined up and looking perfect, I am a bit of a perfectionist with my UI and it has to be all aligned correctly

Again thanks for a great mod and keep up the good work

The behaviour when using the predefined horizontal layout and the grow upwards option is a bit strange. It looks a lot like the horizontal + grow down layout with the group names at the bottom of the frame instead of the top, instead of having all the group names aligned at the bottom and units then stacking on top of that.

Edit: I downloaded the version off WoWAce and that seems to have fixed the problem.
