Do you install it like other addons or take the 2 bits and put them inside venture plan?

that would also be my question. String _G [_] = T I added, but it doesn't seem to have changed anything. Both files in the main VenturePlan folder

I did that but doesn't seem to do anything. I tried the extra one and deleted the old folder and go that error message in-game, the only thing that I did without errors is place both folders in the venture plan but again doesn't seem to do anything.

I installed version 0.08 today, and had 0.07 before that. What changed? I assume something, but no change log is provided on Wowinterface, nor in the addon folder.

It isn't an expectation, no. More of a courtesy. Since you use GitHub, you can use the BigWigs Packager, which will provide an automatic change log, along with uploading to GitHub, Wowinterface, Curseforge, and Wago.io, or any combination of those.

EDIT: So I might be slow but I think I just copy the addon here to my addons folder and all I have to do to make it work is edit the vs.lua with “_G[_] = T” to make this work. Can you confirm that I have done it right.

From what I have read the “_G[_] = T” will allow this addon to work with venture plan main addon is this correct. Sorry I don't know anything about coding.

It doesn't show up in the addons list in the character screen but I'm guessing this is because it just adds info to the venture plan addon so wow sees only "venture plan"

Should VenturePlanSoDMissions be on the add on list on chr select. its not for me but i did add the folder to my retail interface addons foler.

Thanks for updating the spells for Venture Plan. I have 12 toons and I do command table every day as they are a good money maker.

With version 0.09 most missions are successful but every day I fail a couple of XP MISSIONS one of the new missions that came out with 9.1. Any idea why.

Before 9.1 the addon was 100% accurate but now not so much. I know the original author of venture plan is on break or manybe not ever redeveloping it so thanks anyway for making it more accurate with the new spell names.

You just put THIS add-on in your interface/addons folder SEPERATE to venture plan as you see the name is different.

You THEN need to edit the vs.lua file and add _G [_] = T. This allows THIS add-on to then work with venture plan.


9.1 command table has NEW spells which are needed to be taken into account to do the missions successfully. The venture plan addon sims the fight to work out if the outcome is win or lose.

I also wasn't sure of what to do with the addon at first too.

Just a small tip: after reaching renown 62 today you will get a new follower to a total of 21 (if you have all others). This will break Venture plan's missions view ui.

To "fix" this go to your WoW install folder then retail -> Interface -> AddOns -> VenturePlan. Open the file "Widgets.lua" with a simple text editor like notepad. Go to the line 1960 and change it from:

for i=1,20 do

To:

for i=1,24 do

Hi, I was wondering if you could explain to me the values in the Spell Table.

I would like to contribute but when I am dumping the mission values and comparing to already known spells, the damage / healing values in the known spells table don't seem to match what I am seeing on the in-game tooltip. Is there a multiplier of some sort that I am missing?
