BulkOrder - Work Orders Automated  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.18
by: Malsomnus [More]

Aren't you tired of going to the work orders NPC and just clicking... and clicking... and clicking?

Well, click no more! All you need is to install this add-on, and from that moment talking to a work orders NPC in your garrison will automatically queue all available work orders for you!

* In order to open the work orders window without automatically queuing all work orders, hold down the LEFT SHIFT key.
* Work orders at the Trading Post, Dwarven Bunker/ War Mill and Goblin Workshop are by default not automatic. This can be changed in the interface settings.
* The work orders window now has an extra button to start all available work orders.

Reminders:
* When you enter your garrison for the first time after logging in, BulkOrder will remind you to start work orders in any buildings that have no work orders queued up.
* You will also be reminded to do some mining/ gardening if you haven't done it yet today.
* You can disable some or all of the reminders in the interface options.

Alternate option

Adding to favorites

What i would like to see is a new button next to the existing button that says something like 'Bulk Post' rather than auto posting. Reason being, sometimes i don't want my Alchemist to post all of my Frostweed when going to the Garrison Alchemist.

Yeah, I'm thinking of making it queue all work orders on ctrl+click, to keep it simple. I hope to get it done by tomorrow.

If I have an even multiple of 5, then I want to stop one short of all possible work orders (i.e. always leave my bag slot occupied). Thanks for thinking about it.

i got an idea from an addon "train all"
http://www.wowinterface.com/download...-TrainAll.html

add a "order all" button?

not just auto order all and hold shift to once.

If more people ask for this feature then I might add it.

Could you please explain where this would be useful?

In some buildings such as the trading post you want to keep it going to produce your resources, but since it's a "random" resource to produce your garrison resources everyday some days you don't want to fill it but you want to find out which item is required to produce, you then do not want it to just shove X orders in there of some really expensive, or rare, component. Perhaps you just want to add like 3-4 orders to keep you going for that day and hope that the next day is some cheap product; like ore and not say draenic dust, fur or some flower you needed to make your pots.

That said I'm really liking this addon, good work.

Fair enough, I'll look into that.
Before v1.01 I considered doing an opposite interface, where you shift+click either the NPC or the Start Work Order button to queue all. Hmmm...

It is not that difficult to add another button to the existing Blizzard frame instead of a modifier when clicking on the existing button or opening the frame. IMO, this gives the user the choice. Look, do one, or do all.

If you want help, I probably can provide the code to add another button.

Edit: TrainAll does exactly what is being proposed here, add another button to an existing Blizzard frame.

I'm sure it's not difficult, but I prefer to avoid that sort of thing. I'll probably do it after all though.

What's not working at the war mill?

well, just a different ideal, about automated order

dont need GUI/config, even for the order which use garrison resources, each time jsut click a button "order all"

just a ideal, in fact my garrisons is working with BulkOrder now and feel good.

is there a way to turn off the auto-all besides the left click? I'd like to have it off and explicitly tell it when to auto

There's no way to do that at the moment. I'm thinking of adding it to the options.
