A simple Lagbar that you can move around. It will show you your current FPS and the current Latency (or Lag) that you are experiencing. (Supports world/realm ping as well)

NOTE: This is NOT a Databroker (LibDataBroker) addon. It provides it's own frames and remembers positioning.

To move the frame, simply hold down SHIFT and drag the LagBar frame.

Slash Commands:

/lagbar reset -- resets window position to the center of the screen

/lagbar bg --shows/hides the background of the window

/lagbar worldping - toggles the world ping display on/off

/lagbar impdisplay - toggles the improved world ping display on/off

/lagbar scale # --changes the scale of the LagBar frame.
NOTE: You really should use small numbers for setting the scale!
Example: 0.8, 1.4, 1.7, 2.6, 2.1, etc... Default is 1

Beautiful! Thank you! It seems like a small thing, but to have the info on screen rather than having to get to hovering over the icon at the bottom and having the system render the hovertext for that is awesome for me.

Glad it worked out. It was a simple modification. Luckily it worked and I didn't have to debug it LOL. I don't have an active account.

Okay I just checked on the live servers and LagBar is working just fine. I can't replicate the error you are referring to. It must have been something on the PTR. Are you still having this issue? The values are correctly updating on my end, and I tried it on several servers and computers.

That said, I've not noticed any problems whatsoever with the addon. It didn't even need to be repositioned, and its numbers are similar to the numbers both on the system readout (on the hovertext for the terminal screen on the bottom of my screen) and that others in my household are getting on their readouts (different in-house net-segments). It's one of the addons I don't realize I rely on till I try to do something and it's not there. Thank you!

I don't have a subscription at the moment. Is the addon itself broken? Otherwise all you need to do is just 'load out of date addons' in the addons setting before you select a character on the character select screen. That should take care of it not loading. Honestly most of the time addons just require a TOC update which is a number changed to support the new patch. It doesn't mean the addon itself is broken just that it won't load because the patch numbers don't match.

Updated for version v3.5, ability to modify the LagBar UI Scale.

Changing just the font would break the sizing of the addon because the text would go outside the tooltip box. Trust me this leads to a whole heap of problems. Instead what I've done is implemented scaling for you. All you would have to do is set the scaling slightly larger then the default which is 1.

Examples:

/lagbar scale 1.1
/lagbar scale 1.4
/lagbar scale 0.5

etc.. etc..

(I have it set up against the top of the window, and over my portrait (default ui). Since the patch, it's about ... it's own height down from the top, won't go up any farther, and is behind my portrait bar. If not, I'll submit a screenshot. -Barleduq
