Multishot is a tiny addon that automatically takes screenshots of memorable events in your World of Warcraft career. It's a photo diary of everything you come across in Azeroth, Outland and Northend.
Features & screenshot possibilities
level-ups and guild level-ups
achievements and guild achievements
challenge mode medals
battleground and arena victories
reputation changes
trade window transactions
garisson building completion
any rare/rare-elite mob kills
timeline; take a screenshot every x minutes (configurable)
keybind; take a custom screenshot on demand
And most of all: boss killshots in dungeons and raids. Inbuilt database contains most if not all bosses ingame. Pew pew!
How to use
Just play as usual and Multishot will be waiting. By the way: you can take screenshots any time you like by pressing the PRINT key. Captures will most likely be located in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Screenshots.
Configuration
via Interface > Addons > Multishot or type /multishot into the chat window.
Updates
You will have to update Multishot every once in a while. Blizzard constantly adds, removes or updates mobs. Multishot would not be aware of these changes otherwise.
Troubleshooting
Multishot might not work as expected after new content patch has been released: every now and then "false positives" will sneak into the database. Those can easily be spotted in debug mode. Please drop me a line so that I can blacklist them as soon as possible.
Localization
Multishot works on all locales and supports localization. Please submit a translated copy of the "/Locales/Locale-enUS.lua" file if your language is not included yet. Thanks!
Development
Check out the official Multishot Thread on WoW Interface for bug reports and feature requests. You are likely to get a faster reply if you include a dancing banana in your post.
Thanks
Anyone who has contributed to Multishot: I really appreciate your help! Thanks for improving Multishot by adding new features to the source code, reporting & fixing bugs, and so on. Keep it up!

Does this addon add a small delay here ?
Hit escape, select interface settings, addons-tab and select this addon and there you can set some delay.

I noticed your latest changelog mentioned the removal of hunter pet level up screenshots, and to me those aren't very important anyway - but I'm curious if this cures the screenshotting everytime my hunter enters a vehicle (ie. Wintergrasp)?
If not, that's my only complaint - things lag for a moment (while screenshot is processed) when hopping into a vehicle, and at times it's a little annoying during heated PvP or Flame Leviathan.

Originally posted by sun an option to take a sshot without the ui would be a nice complement.
I've tried some of such addons (I'm a screenshot junkie, lol), but a lot of other addons don't allow it or mess up afterwards.
But it would be nice.
Although I do not mind the UI. It helps me remember the members of the party I was in (bossfight), and additional info like the quick statistics of bossmods when the screenshot is taken, and such. And I really like the "You have earned the title: <insert title>" in my screenshots of achievements.
Originally posted by drsmartazze does it take the ss at the right time or as the achievement fades in?
I don't know what the "right" time is to you, but as soon as you get the achievement, it fires. Downside: if you get an achievement when you kill a boss you'll get two screenshots.
FEATURE SUGGESTION: Option to only take boss screenshots in raid instances.
I updated the code for the Ulduar bosses and sent a PM to the author, but if anyone wants to modify their copy now, here's what you do:
Go to the Interface/AddOns/Multishot folder, and open Multishot.lua in Notepad. Add the following lines in the mobDB section. Near the end is fine, just make sure you enter your lines in before the }.
The NPC ID for Yogg-Saron may be wrong, I haven't been able to test it. I don't yet have the NPC ID for Algalon, so if you kill him, you'll have to take a screenshot the old fashioned way.
Originally posted by Jerricka How do you turn off the bosskil shots? It's annoying to freeze up whenever I kill one, has crashed me twice now and I need to turn it off when raiding.
This is a very late response, but I'd like to add it anyway. According to Brajana at NoStockUI, you can turn off boss kill screenshots by editing the Multishot.lua file in Notepad. Erase or comment out (put a double hyphen before it) the following line (line 522):
How do you turn off the bosskil shots? It's annoying to freeze up whenever I kill one, has crashed me twice now and I need to turn it off when raiding.
Checking by to see if there are new updates.
I love this addon, it made tons of adorable screenshots for me!
Major gains in reputation would be great to screenshot too.
For example: the "You are now exalted with .." sentence is usually something you worked hard enough for to have a big proud moment, one to screenshot!
