It may be that I have too many panels (at least 40)..

I was thinking I could work around this by having an onload script do that 'refresh the panel' type thing, but looking at the script examples, I'm not sure how I could do that.

Any ideas?
I would hazard a guess to say, when you reload your ui. the SBF frames are being created on demand. kgPanels should refresh and reparent automatically as the SBF frames are being created. When it does the layout if the parent doesnt exist, it is set hidden till the parent is created, then resets the parent and it should share visibility with that parent.

Any help would be great, thanks!
Once you open up the kgPanels config screen, a new keybiding will be activated allowing you to hit the key and get the name of the frame under your mouse.

Is there an FAQ or how-to?

I probably just missed it, but I can't seem to find a how-to or FAQ for us total newbies to kgpanels. Where can I find that?

It seems that this would be a fantastic add-on for UI customization! I'm really excited to dig in and see what it can do. I'm just not sure where to start. Could somebody please point me in the right direction...perhaps somewhere with very basic directions on how to get this setup?

Thanks!

Edited: I checked curse (which reminded me that I needed to update this add-on!) and it has a link to the wiki and FAQ. Just a suggestion... Could you put a link to this things here on WoW Interface, too? Thanks!

Seems like the most current version is on Curse rather than here.

Ripstorm

Those paths don't match. In one you have the "Addons" directory, but not in the other.

Hi everyone, I'm new to using kgPanels and am having some problems. I've read some tutorials and watched some vids and stuff but I can't manage to upload my own artwork/textures. So hopefully one of you can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I am using Microsoft Digital Image (Starter Addition) to create the file as .tga

Here's where I am saving the file.
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\textures\Rip.tga

Dimensions of the file are 128 by 128.

Here's my Path that I am using
\\Interface\\AddOns\\textures\\Rip.tga

So what am I doing wrong because I don't see my texture being uploaded?
