Warning
if you depend on item scaling and spacing between items do not upgrade and use version 3.6a instead, this update is not necessary if the previous version (3.6a) is working fine on your computer.

Installation

You install this AddOn like any other, just unpack the downloaded zip into your /Interface/AddOns folder.

Summary
Hello and welcome back to another helpful AddOn which will improves your daily shopping-adventures with merchants.

Okay what did this AddOn do to your merchantframe ? It replaces the paged item display with a scrollable and more informative list which can also be filtered by available item types. It use the same purchase protection like the default merchantframe when buying an item which requires honor-,arena-points or specific items.

Features

  • Filter: you can filter items from a vendor out. You can setup a filter to show only trainable, usable, purchasable items or just items from a specific type (or subtype)
  • Searchcraft: you can search item descriptions for certain a or multiple (seperated by an colon ;) keywords and filter those out which does not include your keywords
  • Scrollable List: you can now scroll through the merchant shop instead of the paged view
  • Autorepair: as a request you can now check a button on a merchant frame to enable autorepair.

Feature request/change. I use Skillet for my tradeskills and it places a "Buy Reagents" button right in the middle of the filter/search bar if I need to buy stuff from the vendor. Can you possibly look at maybe that addon and discuss placement with the author?

Man, I feel really bad keep posting bug reports... But I hope you don't mind, and I'm sure excited for when all the bugs are squashed and this exciting addon is perfected!

If he does add it, he will have to remove it once WotLK comes out, as grimoires will be removed from the game. =/

I use an addon called Grimoire Keeper which keeps track of all the spells i have bought for the summons. Seems it doesn't work well with ImprovedMerchant. Is there any way you could add something similar? Thanks in advance for the reply.

this should no longer occur, this was due a recover iteminfos implementation which can be shown when your client are missing itemlinks sothat these will not display for a short time in the merchantframe.

Found a bug, after a few seconds the buyback window displays the things you can buy from the merchant

jo thanks...hatte die aktuellste noch aufn desk liegn...btw möglich ne combi aus 2 filtern ? zb reagent & usable ? und dass noch alles gespeichert wird ? und ne option dass die orginalansicht mit den großen icons erhaltn bleibt ?

Blast, I apologise for that. I tend to not always read the throng of replies as my sight isn't the best and reading a huge group of posts can be a pain (literally), I should've counted on someone already having reported it.

I can no longer reproduce the error I reported. Potentially it was a fluke or a specific item that caused the error. If I come across it again, I will make sure to have an image and note the specific item in question. My apologies for the false alarm. Keep up the good work.
