Dominos is an action bar addon intended to do the following:

Reuse as much standard blizzard action button code as possible.
Contain a relatively minimal feature set
Be easy to use
Be stable

It includes the following features:

10 action bars, pet, class, menu, and bag bars. Each one has customizable settings for padding, spacing, columns, scale, and opacity.
A movable experience/reputation bar.
Customizable paging. You can switch pages on: action bar pages, modifier keys, forms, and targeting.
Customizable show states. You can tell your bar under which macro options to show, and at what opacity.
Fading bars. You can set your bars to fade out to a certain opacity when not moused over.
The ability to customize showing empty buttons or not
Masque support
LibKeyBound support
Sticky frames (FlyPaper)
The ability to move buttons in combat
A movable casting bar (optional)
Configurable right click targeting
Configurable self cast key settings
Configurable Possess/Override/Vehicle Bar support

...and will probably not end up with the following:

A stats bar
A minimap bar
True variable length bars

Here's how you use it:

To see the current list of slash commands, type /dom ? or /dominos ?
To open up the options menu, either go into interface options, or type /dom
To move bars around, either go into the options menu and press the "Enter Config Mode" button, or type /dom lock
To bind keys, enter binding mode via /kb or /keybound, or press the "Enter Binding Mode" button in the options menu.
Hold down alt while moving a bar to disable sticky bars

...and this is why I wrote it:

I have significantly less time to code now than I did previously. Dominos is intended to be easier to maintain.
I wanted to see how much I could do while maintaining compatibility with the standard action button code.
I'm not entirely happy with the direction I took with Bongos3. I added features that I do not see myself using personally, and thus feel that those features will be neglected and bug ridden.

You can use the following to add extra functionality:

tullaRange - Colors action buttons red when out of range
OmniCC - Adds cooldown count text
Masque - Allows you to change the look of buttons
AdiButtonAuras - Adds buff and debuff highlighting + duration text

I recently swapped to Dominos from being a long-time Bartender user because I heard it uses less addon memory. Which it does, no problem there. My issue with it currently is that I play a Boomkin / Resto druid, and every time I swap specs my bars don't "Update" with the new spec change. So I will have Icon there from my previous spec but the spell of my new spec underneath. Am I making sense? Hope I am, and hope you can help me. Cheers ~Gore

The problem is with the disabling of the Quick Move function. Even if I set this option to "None", my cursor over my warrior stance bar while I hold "shift" + moving the mousewheel will still change my stance bar to other bars. Not only that, though... it seems no matter what i set the quick move button to, only Shift will cause the bars to change.

Quick move == modifier to hold to pick up a button off of a bar, even with buttons locked.

Mess with the quick paging bindings in either the keybindings menu, or the right click menu for the first actionbar.

In order to facilitate easier spec switching, your bar's layout is copied to your second spec, and not cleared. So when you switch specs your bars don't seem to change, just move a couple of abilities around and then switch again, you'll notice the change.

luzif3r A Defias Bandit Forum posts: 2 File comments: 1 Uploads: 0	ok i feel very stupid for just asking this: how do i switch actionbars in a macro? and i mean the dominos bars not the blizz default bars. there are macro commands for these but they dont work with dominos bars(or i miss something here). now why do i need this? i want to be able to cancel shadowdance and not be stuck in the actionbar i gave dominos to switch to. apparently it only switches back after its duration or something. to make it short i want the equivalent of: /swapactionbar 1 2 for dominos. thanks in advance. very nice addon you wrote.

Strange issue, sounds like you're saying you have 2 spell icons in the same place when you swap specs.
Make sure you don't have 2 bars overlapping each other, and that you've arranged the spells for your secondary/primary talents the way you like for BOTH. When you swap the secondary talent's spell icons remain the same until you rearrange them.
