Dominos is an action bar addon intended to do the following:

Reuse as much standard blizzard action button code as possible.
Contain a relatively minimal feature set
Be easy to use
Be stable

It includes the following features:

10 action bars, pet, class, menu, and bag bars. Each one has customizable settings for padding, spacing, columns, scale, and opacity.
A movable experience/reputation bar.
Customizable paging. You can switch pages on: action bar pages, modifier keys, forms, and targeting.
Customizable show states. You can tell your bar under which macro options to show, and at what opacity.
Fading bars. You can set your bars to fade out to a certain opacity when not moused over.
The ability to customize showing empty buttons or not
Masque support
LibKeyBound support
Sticky frames (FlyPaper)
The ability to move buttons in combat
A movable casting bar (optional)
Configurable right click targeting
Configurable self cast key settings
Configurable Possess/Override/Vehicle Bar support

...and will probably not end up with the following:

A stats bar
A minimap bar
True variable length bars

Here's how you use it:

To see the current list of slash commands, type /dom ? or /dominos ?
To open up the options menu, either go into interface options, or type /dom
To move bars around, either go into the options menu and press the "Enter Config Mode" button, or type /dom lock
To bind keys, enter binding mode via /kb or /keybound, or press the "Enter Binding Mode" button in the options menu.
Hold down alt while moving a bar to disable sticky bars

...and this is why I wrote it:

I have significantly less time to code now than I did previously. Dominos is intended to be easier to maintain.
I wanted to see how much I could do while maintaining compatibility with the standard action button code.
I'm not entirely happy with the direction I took with Bongos3. I added features that I do not see myself using personally, and thus feel that those features will be neglected and bug ridden.

You can use the following to add extra functionality:

tullaRange - Colors action buttons red when out of range
OmniCC - Adds cooldown count text
Masque - Allows you to change the look of buttons
AdiButtonAuras - Adds buff and debuff highlighting + duration text

I should probably test this w/ no addons (that is, I have no idea what the normal behavior is), but I'm assuming the additional ability granted by the Druid 'Symbiosis' ability should show up as the "Extra" button, no? I came up with an idea a few days/week ago to make something that does do that, but I've not written it yet/not sure if it'll work :P

I started having this problem in 5.2 on my warrior. My key binds are not switching when I go between my dual specs. I've even tried using Action Bar Saver, but it seems broken right now. In any case, any advice would be appreciated. I have absolutely no idea what is wrong. Been poking around, trying different profiles, etc. I have my key binds down so pat I can re-do them for either spec in about 30 seconds now...ugh... Thanks in advance.

No its currently set to the 123 setting and I dont have any Razer cloud key bindings or macros anymore (awhile back I thought they might be causing interferrence so I deleted all).

It just seems odd that just that one key binding won't work, but every other one of the 35 do.

about pet battles

ok the battlepettabs add-on tuns the lower bars of the battle pet ui into Dominos based bars; but, now the main Domino bars are not cutting off. when the pet battles start. if i cut off/on/off the turn off the override toggle then it works ok. what i want to know is do you know if it is a glitch in your coding or a problem with his. If it is with his i was going to let him know so he can try to fix the mis-communication.

it's a great add-on but its a pain to have to have the bpt pet bars up higher than the main dominos bars.

I'm not sure exactly what you're telling me

on curse there is a add-on called battlepettabs it works the same as Dominos but it doesn't hit the override automatically if you cut override off and on it work so i don't know if its "battle pet tabs" or a hiccup in the coding

The overlapping bit is probably caused by masque. Your best bet is to adjust the overall bar padding settings to deal with that.

old versions, i mean about 2 years ago, was not suffering this issue. now i see every bar moving, even bars i locked in corners. any chance to find a workaround, restoring old behavior?
anyway, other adoons i'm updating behave like that, sliding or totally being out of screen. maybe blizzard changed something. i'm also seeing a ui reload when switching. why???

kappe A Deviate Faerie Dragon Forum posts: 14 File comments: 123 Uploads: 0	hey, i'm playing again again after 2 years of real life, how are you? even before to take a look at those pandas, i've updated some mandatory addons and i am now refreshing my ui. then i've just noticed a strange thing. dunno if this was already reported but hey.. a bar is horizontally centered in full screen, but moved to right in window. same bar, centered in window, moved to left in fullscreen. it's the only addon loaded. this happened only if the bar had, example, 6 columns instead of 12, but trying and trying again, now the bar has started moving even if there are 12 columns. so yes, i've broken it. if the bar is at corners, it remains in place switching fullscreen/window/fullscreen.
