This is a Broker Dailies Quest Tracker Addon, that will keep track of the dailies that you have done for the day. All libraries are included. You will need to have some sort of Broker container in order to use this addon. (I.E. Fortress, DockingStation, NinjaPanel, etc..)

Problem with Ace2_Event ...
Hi
I just wanted to mention that I have the exact same problem as Grunties is describing and I have not AtlasLootFu installed. I don't get the error message on every Daily quest but quite a few (all in Northrand). Beside that, thanks for a great addon! /Evil

Daralan cooking quest keeps bugging it out it generates massive errors and insists that quest wasn't completed. ( I am using Pyrran's fun updated files )

Waypoints
I think this addon is amazing, but for some reason I cannot get it to work with Cartographer or TomTom. If I could somehow get it to work with Cartographer, TomTom or Cabonite I would build the rest of my UI around this. This would simplify my post 80 game soooo much.
If anyone currently has success with this addon and tomtom, please post here on the versions you use for both addons. Thanks Skroto of Anvilmar |

I turned off AtlasLootFu and completed the daily dalaran cooking quest: same result, but the "(tail call)" points to the Ace2 libs in DQT's own folder instead of AtlasLootFu. I'm guessing that isn't really relevant to the problem then - more that WoW just grabs the first copy of the included libs that it comes across alphabetically. I looked around in the main .lua file for instances of the offending variable, and I don't see it being initialized outside of any functions or at load time. I haven't completely scoured all the included files, so I don't know what the logic flow is for the whole addon yet.
Line 790 is where that variable first shows up, and is also the offending line. It gets initialized as a local on line 1278 in the Dailies:GetSavedDailesTime function, then referenced again on line 1281. On line 1576, it gets declared as a global variable in the OnTooltipUpdate function. Is this just an issue of scope for that variable? I.e. should it not be made into a local in GetSavedDailiesTime, or rather should the local copy be renamed to prevent namespace collisions? Keep in mind that I know just enough about programming to sound like I know what i'm doing, but not quite enough to move from 'dangerous' to competent. =P |

@grunties: I merely added the factions I listed, and made zero logic changes to Fritos' code. Reading back the "DailiesNumberDate (nil value)" problem had been an issue in the past. I would perhaps try disabling AtlasLootFu to see how it affects the error, as a starting point at least.
@icerat: No - just all the ones for the factions I listed. (Argent Crusade is missing one dailiy "Slaves to Saronite" that I am aware of) |

After replacing the files with the updates you posted, I get a rather strange error when turning in most of the daily quests for cooking (among others). Here's the message (minus installed addons to save space):
Does this appear to be a problem with AtlasLootFu or with DQT itself? |

Updated files
Unfortunately it's not quite as easy as just adding to the list of dailies in the DailiesQuestTracker.lua file, e.g. you have to add missing factions in a number of places throughout this file and DailesQuestTracker.lua (so the code can deal with the factions and dailies in the same manner as the already included ones).
I have some changes to my files:
The addon now tracks all the included dailies that are available to both Alliance and Horde (I do have one issue with Argent Crusade Troll Patrol dailies with regard to displaying rep rewarded with I need to investigate - but it doesnt stop them actually being tracked so it's kinda minor) I sorta neglected my cooking in Classic and TBC, so havent included any cooking changes (but I'm working on bring my cooking up to par so I can slot those in if need be). As Fritos is busy with other things atm (understandable - especially at this time of year) - you can grab my updated files from here. Remember to put them in the actual DailiesQuestTracker folder and not the general Addons root folder! I'll keep the link available until Fritos either asks me to remove it, or is able to provide an official update. Happy Dailying! Pyrran. |

How can I help update the data?
How do I go about adding info to this mod? Some initial problems i've found in the first 5 minutes:
* Alliance-only quests are showing in the minimap tooltip: Break the Blockade, Steel Gate Patrol * Drake Hunt is a Wyrnrest Accord daily but it is listed under Northrend * Aces High! is not listed (also Wyrmrest Accord) I opened up the TrackersList.lua file and found where the quests go, but I don't know enough about how the entries are made to correct them myself. Here's a shot at correcting Drake Hunt: ["Drake Hunt"] = {XPac = "WotLK", icon = [[Interface\Icons\INV_Spear_11]], link = "|cffffff00|Hquest:11940:71|h[Drake Hunt]|h|r", coords ="33.317:34.533", qgiver = "Raelorasz", qzone = "Borean Tundra", qszone = "Transitus Shield", area = "Borean Tundra", group = "The Wyrmrest Accord", SID = "The Wyrmrest Accord:4", ["rep"] = {"The Wyrmrest Accord:250"}, gold = 47000},Here's the addition for Aces High!: ["Aces High!"] = {XPac = "WotLK", icon = [[Interface\Icons\ability_mount_drake_bronze]], link = "|cffffff00|Hquest:13414:80|h[Aces High!]|h|r", coords ="29.500:24.800", qgiver = "Corastrasza", qzone = "Borean Tundra", qszone = "The Nexus", area = "Borean Tundra", group = "The Wyrmrest Accord", SID = "The Wyrmrest Accord:4", ["rep"] = {"The Wyrmrest Accord:250"}, gold = 47000},They seem to be working at the moment, but I can't confirm because i've already maxed out my daily turn-ins. The Horde/Alliance issue seems to be bigger than just the 2 quests I posted. Do you have any logic/flow control for parsing the player's faction? I suppose they could also just be put in separate categories and the player can manually turn them on/off like the rest of the groups. If the updates are just a matter of doing data-entry, i'd be happy to volunteer my time. If it's a matter of getting in-game and completing them, I can do that as well, since i've opened up at least 40 possible daily quests. Thanks for the addon! |

Love the addon, waiting patiently for fixes
I love the addon, and I want you to know that as soon as a beta release version is available I'm going to be downloading to to avoid these silly errors I get.
One question though, and sorry if it's been answered but I couldn't seem to find it, are you going to have the correct turn-in people especially for the Dalaran cooking dailies? As it is, they are currently the Alliance side, and I am Horde. Thanks for your hard work man. |

Fritos, is there any chance you can wrap up the changes you have now and maybe post a beta release? Everyone's getting really impatient as you can see. I don't mean to put pressure on you, I've been a developer myself and I know what that feels like.
