Downloaded it. At first, I rolled a 3, which kinda surprised me... Then I realized I hadn't enabled it, and omg...
I didn't screenshot anything, but basically, I've never had a roll below 75. People were a bit suspicious, but hell, what can they say? Everybody can be lucky.

Coolest addon I've ever seen, my luck to roll 99s is now completely outrun by rolling 100s . Have to keep it, just maybe a few changes to coding to make me roll 101s on

Is it possible to add an estimation with each roll of about how much the roll was improved? It's hard to tell sometimes if it's actually working or just an incredibly long streak of rolls above 70.

When I was downloading it, I admit, I thought it could be a fake... but, damn! It works!! Probably it will not be legal in the next days... so download it fast.

I always felt myself rather unlucky as it comes to rolling and not only rolling even. Most of my random statistics were against me. But now with this addon I'll finally be able to win some more rolls! It's best addon ever, I love you guys for making one!

I never would have guessed that Blizzard cheated in their generation of a pseudo-random number in such a predictable fashion! Maybe they hoped nobody would ever figure it out, LOL!

This is crazy, and you know I don't think they can fix it easily without rewriting the way the entire client-server communications work. I'd even hesitate to say that the flaw runs so deep in the code that we won't see a fix for this problem until 3.0.

It's going to be crazy until this gets patched, and at the rate that people are downloading this addon, it's not going to be long before everyone is using it as it is. You're going to be seriously disadvantaged until you install this addon.

It will eventually be like Decursive when soon it won't be a case of merely being a useful addon to fully being a necessary addon!

Anyhow, hats off to you guys for figuring out the algorithm... indeed a feat of great ingenuity!

Addon of the YEAR!!!

As a student currently working on a Masters in Computer Science, I figured it could be interesting to look through the algorithm. Wow. Just, wow. I've read some papers over work like this, but I've never seen it put into practice as elegantly as you've done it here.

Plus, it works like a charm. I was able to clean up in a PUG SSC run tonight.

Actually, as was mentioned, anything you can do via lua code, that is, via an addon, is considered fair game unless Blizzard explicitly states otherwise. The idea is that they only provide us with functionality that they are comfortable with us having. If we weren't meant to be able to do it, then they just change what addons can do and the problem is solved.

Now, Blizzard does occasionally ask addon authors to take down addons or to remove them (BottomFeeder comes to mind), but unless they specifically rule that an addon is illegal to use (which has only happened VERY infrequently) you can use any addon without getting in trouble.

What you were talking about, with slowing down packets for your HP loss, would involve actually modifying your computing environment, which is not possible using addons. That would be a full-fledged hack since it would require third-party software that altered the game, making it illegal.

So yes, this is legal to use, but as with some other addons, the more people using it, the less useful it is, so use it while the looting is still good. In a few days everyone's roll on every server will be rolled by this addon.

I had to install it just to see. I must admit I am impressed...
