but according to wowhead, the buff it gives you, when it procs, is called Fingers of Frost http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=44544 Go to /powa create new new window pops up look at lower part of window first from dropdown list for Activation by: choose Buff. keep stacks=0 the box under it(mouse-over it to double check) should say "Enter here the name of the buff" type in the name of the buff Fingers of Frost Under that, leave everything else unchecked (unless you know what they do, which is pretty straightforward given all the mouse-over tool tips) leave everything unchecked except for "Exact Name" and "Ignore Upper Case" so... Have those two checked (unless you know what it means, which is obvious). now you can adjust the upper part of the window for graphics, and go through the tabs at the bottom part of window for animation, sound and timer |

Overpower Aura not working as intended
I would like to see the aura around my warrior when overpower is available.
So I set the "Action Usable" trigger for Overpower spell. It works nice when I am in Battle stance. But If I change to Def or Bers stance the aura always showing. Please corrent Action Usable trigger to check stances/forms maybe? P.S. Really enjoing your addon, it is very cool. |

Pet health threshold problem
There is something buggy about the pet health threshold option.
I followed the instructions and put "pet" in the unitname field and set the health treshhold to 50. This aura appears only OCCASIONALLY, and i've noticed it doesn't appear in battle. After the battle is over, and i begin to cast health funnel, the aura often appears for a second and then disappears once it crosses back over the 50% threshold. Any ideas? |

Okay, after much fiddling, I realized that Powa wasn't looking at all my buttons. I have Macaroon, which is an action bars addon, and it seems that powa didn't know that the bar with Mortal Strike existed. I enabled Bliz' Bar, stuck Mortal Strike on there, and all is now gravy. Edit: and of course, I then disabled Bliz' bar and all is still well.

I have some debug info. The aura's slot is 17, and it looks like this corresponds with the slot:
[22:07:00]Test Aura for Hide or Show = 17 [22:07:00]numPartymembers=0 / numRaidmembers=0 [22:07:00]Check Action / Button:0 [22:07:00]Buff Active - HideAura = 17 |

I cannot get Mortal Strike to register as an ability. I have tried everything:
entering combat and using Mortal Strike. Linking Mortal Strike from the combat log, copying the text, removing the brackets, and entering that into the action name bar (where you enter the name of the action) doing the same thing for exact name bar other various fiddling like turning it on then turning it off, checking Use Own Texture and sliding the texture slider around. Yet I still have a question mark in the box.

Question: Action is usable 'pulse'
Hey, I am new to the mod and I have figured out how to set up some of the basics.
I am trying to set up an action is usable 'pulse' (not to be confused with the pulsing animation option). Meaning I want an icon to pop up for a second or so when an action becomes usable and then fade out or w/e. Specifically I want to do this: When my overpower is usable an icon flashes once (like cooldowntimers pulse works). Cheers, Decima Edit: And I figured it out right after I posted. =[ Solution: Increase animation duration slider under animation tab to >0, add effects to the animation appearance and disappearance with animation begin/end drop downs if you wish. -Decima

Hi, I'm trying to get this addon (which is wonderful) to tell me when my Battle Shout is both not up already and usable. The addon seems to _try_ to do this, but I get odd things happening, like the aura shows even when the buff is on, or it doesn't show when the buff is off. My current configuration is:
*only those boxes checked are checked. assume unchecked if not listed* glow use own texture ignore uppercase show when not active Please help! ***update*** Okay, for battle shout, I fixed it by selecting Buff instead of Action Usable. But I think I had the same problems in the past for things like *reminding me that Mortal Strike is usable* and anything having to do with Action usable. It seems to flicker or something. Author, could you please list the known problems with Action Usable triggering? Thanks -Iron

Only issue I've had with this mod is that it's difficult to move the slider for artwork selection with any precision. Any way it they can be turned vertical with mouse-wheel step selection for more control?

Going to beg again (grovel even, if need be) to see if you'd consider adding a trigger for time remaining on a buff?
Hunger for blood is very costly if it runs out, but cheap enough to use in combat if timed right :/ Having a power aura trigger when <5 seconds would be SOOoo useful. Pretty much all other buff addon reminders only tell you once it's missing/run out please pretty please ? the timers seem to be there, and are kinda helpful (TY!), but nothing by way of visual alert. Love everything else about the addon. it really is as useful as it is fun |
