I have written a new action bar addon, called Dominos, and am no longer supporting this one. Please feel free to try it out, along with Trinity Bars, and Bartender 3

Bongos3 is a main action bar replacement designed be both powerful, yet lightweight and easy to use.

Included Addons:

Bongos - The core addon.
Bongos_AB - The action bar portion of Bongos.
Bongos_CastBar - A casting bar replacement. Colors the bar based on if the spell being cast is helpful, harmful or neutral. Also includes a timer.
Bongos_RollBar - Makes the dialogs that pop up when rolling on items movable.
Bongos_Stats - A movable framerate, latency, and addon memory usage indicator.
Bongos_XP -A movable experience/reputation bar.
Bongos_Options - A load on demand options menu.

You configure the bag bar just like you would configure a normal bar. Click on the Bongos icon by the minimap, and right click the bag bar afterwards, just like it says in the tooltips.

Either I didn't explain myself or you didn't read... nothing to do with PROFILES... I just can't configure bag bars... there's no place in bongos3 for me to configure a bag bar. There's no bag bar.

Been posting it in all forums and never had an answer... got an image of the config menu in order to make it clear... no bag bar... I like Bongos3 but I can't use it without a bag bar ((((

And to make it worse... installed bongos3 somehow messed up my bongos2 installation so now I can't load profiles on my bongos2 and it won't open the config menu...

Big glitch?

Bongos3 doesn't loads the Bongos2 profiles. You will have to re-design your interface again.

I have set up my ActionBar1 such that it will switch to page2 when in bear form, page3 in cat form, etc. But in Bear Form, when it is on Page 2, when I press 2 to use the 2nd button, I find this casts the spell in the 2nd slot on my FIRST page of the bar, not the SECOND page of the bar. Although in Bear Form, Page 2 is shown, when I press 2, it instead casts the spell in Page 1. This goes for ALL buttons from 1-9. I can get rid of this by MANUALLY binding Page2 buttons to 1-9, but this shouldnt happen, right? Is there a way I can get rid of this? The tiny numbers on my buttons really look ugly if I manually bind it.

Oh, I see. You want a completely different set of keybindings for the same buttons while in stealth. I don't think that's possible using the normal stealth paging but you could "hack" it by using showstates on two separate actionbars:

Create two separate action bars.
Assign your normal keybindings to the first bar and your stealth keybindings to the second bar.
Drag the bars into place so that they overlap each other exactly.
Set the showstate for the first actionbar to: [nostealth]
Set the showstate for the second actionbar to: [stealth]

i like different keybindings on the two modes of the bar
button 1 in normal have keybinding 1
button 2 in normal have keybinding 2
button 3 in normal have keybinding 3
button 1 stealth have no button
button 2 stealth have no button

Try clearing the keybindings on your stealth bar by going into stealth, activating the keybinding mode and then pressing Escape over each button in your stealth bar. Then it should just use the keybinds from your normal bar when you're stealth.

Just downloaded Bongos 3, and I can't set anything regarding the minimap I can't resize, remove zoom in/out buttons and things alike, which makes my minimap huge compared to rest of my interface, which again I don't quite like . Great addon in all regards anyway . Oh yeah, and could there be in the future an input field for values, as the scrollers are really a pain in the arse sometimes when you try to decrease or increase the values for a single point, ie. going from 9 to 10 columns, always jumps from 9 to 11 or from 11 to 9, so input fields where you type "10" would be uber cool. Do you get the error without any other addons loaded?

Easiest thing would probably be to copy your WTF folder from the first computer to the other, which would bring along the exact settings from the first. If you want just the Bongos3 settings, it's the Bongos.lua file located in World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNT_NAME\SavedVariables. To be safe, should probably copy Bongos_AB.lua, also.

Bongos.lua contains all bar placement and layout information.
Bongos_AB.lua contains information about things like debuff colors, right click selfcast settings, etc.

I'm having problems getting the process bar to work. The change log says that the possess bar will now default to the pet bar if no action bar has been set to act as it, but that is not working for me.

Definite bug, will be fixed. (Did I mention I hate writing upgrade code? :P)

1. Lets say you resize a bar to make it smaller, for some reason bongos gobbles up the buttons sometimes and when you "re-add" the buttons they will be completely different buttons. That is very annoying lol.

Bug.

2. Related to #1, lets say you want to change from vertical to horizontal. You can't seem to do that without "removing" the buttons and then re-adding them, and then you run into the problem mentioned in #1.

UI Issue. You want a columns setting basically, which I might reimplement.

3. Any chance to add an option of "only showing" upon mouseover.

Already exists. That's what the faded opacity option is for.

Made the jump from Bongos 2 to 3, but one issue: How do I scroll through the bars with holding shift and mousewheel (or number keys to change to a different bar)? The blizzard keybinding to go to Next/previous actionbar is still there but doesn't work at all on Bongos3, reason why I want this is because I keep BS, Smelting, First Aid, combatlog and various other macros which I do not want visible on my screen so I kept them on Actionbar 2 and always pressed Shift+2 to change to that if I needed to access them then change back with Shift+1.

I made manual paging not be a default in Bongos3 since people complained about their buttons "randomly" switching when in combat, and not knowing how to get back to normal settings. You can reenable it via messing with the Action Page X sliders in the Manual Paging panel of a bar's right click menu.

Basically, when I set action bar 1 to have 5 pages, setting "Action Page 6" under "Manual Paging" to "Disabled" just does the exact same thing as setting "Action Page 6" to "Page 1."

Other people have mentioned this issue in this thread calling it things like "lag when scrolling pages." I hope this post helps to clarify what they were trying to say.

First, please read this:

There are 6 special states that Blizzard gives us, called Action Page 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. I cannot decrease or increase the number of these states, so if you press the binding for any one of them, you will be put into the given action page state. That includes when you mouse wheel.

The "stuttering" people experience when paging is caused by them having extra action bars enabled in interface options. When you do that, you reduce the total number of available pages, and Blizzard just simply maps those pages to other ones. So you get cases where you press an action page binding, but your bar does not switch. The solution is to disable all of the extra bars in interface options. I'd do it with Bongos, but that would taint.
