More Information
More detailed information about Armory can be found on the project site. Here you can also access the localization tab which provides an interface to make things easier on translators. Additional software, like ArmoryGuildRecipes, its XML exporter and a Joomla! web site plug-in, as well as a tool to merge databases from different accounts can be found on the Neighbours Guild Website.
Bug Reports and Feature Requests
The comments are not meant to be used for reporting bugs and feature requests. Especially long stack dumps will clutter up the comments section and make it hard to follow. This may result in your post being unnoticed. Also you have no idea what happened with your post and you will not be able to track its status. The best thing to do in this case is file a ticket.
Filing a ticket is not hard but you need a Curse account. Please read How to file tickets before posting.
Coffee
If you like to express your appreciation for the effort that has been put into Armory (and keep me awake to be able to maintain it), press the donate button and buy me a cup of coffee. For those interested: I drink black, extra dark roast. And here you can read how it all started.
Links
  • ElvUI skin for Armory
  • Tukui skin for Armory

Word of Thanks
First of all to you! For using Armory and keeping me inspired by providing positive feedback. And you! Who made a donation so I can keep my subscription active (I hardly play WoW anymore). And you! Who translated Armory to make it easier for non-English speaking players. And finally the members of the Neighbours guild (Pluis!) and others who helped me test the alpha builds.

Hi,
I was on my mage looking at the glyphs she had... then I wanted to see what glyphs my hunter had so I switched to him but no matter what I did it continued to show my my mage's glyphs. Is this a limitation or a bug?

Thanks,
Twidget

This error seems to be caused by ATSW. The scan normally takes a fraction to complete and while you are clicking you don't see the UPDATE message. This makes sense because Armory isn't doing anything while you're browsing your recipes. Could you please try it again with ATSW disabled and using the standard trade skill window?

Re: problem w/ at least inscription professions

With patch 3 I switched from ATSW to Skillet and haven't noticed any irregularities so far. But I use QuestGuru and didn't notice any problems with the quest log either so I don't mean to say that there is no problem

I need to be able to reproduce your problem to see what's happening. It probably occurs when the trade skill frame is opened and a scan is triggered. You can check yourself by entering /ar debug before opening a profession and you'll see when a scan is being performed.

as I've said before, Armory is an excellent addon. There is a problem with the latest release as Armory has an interaction with ATSW addon, but if I disable armory or uncheck professions in the config panel, inscriptions will work as expected again.

I looks like the indexes of the skills doesn't match the highlighted item. For example if I select glyph of plague strike, i get the icon and tooltip of hunters ink with the reagents of a pigment.
I have also seen this with my Enchanting and Tailoring. I didn't notice the icon/tooltip thing that blankStare mentioned, but some of the skills disappear from the list. It seems that either disabling profession searching in Armory or changing to a different view in ATSW (Advanced Trade Skill Window) makes it come back, but I believe it was still buggy from there (I'm at work so I can't check right now).

BugSack doesn't catch any errors, and I don't see any on the screen. When I get home I can test this out some more and post more info, if Warmexx can say what might be helpful.

Consider it fixed in the next release. I overlooked it completely.

Miscellaneous Option

Thanks for the option to search only the current realm in the find command! This made my day when I went through the options and found that after updating.

Still seems to show Guild Banks on other realms, but a great feature nonetheless!

I tried both (with and without yielding) and it doesn't make a difference. It seems that the event always comes after I finished scanning (and had to expand one or more headers of course). If I just ignore the next update event in this case it seems to be okay. This could be a solution but I'm still investigating.

I never stated that there is no problem. And I already said that I'll do some tests. But that doesn't mean I can't think and reply.

I'm pretty sure that won't happen. During the scan a lock is in place which prevents executing the same code again. With /ar debug you can see when the database is being updated (or if an update is blocked because of a lock).

If you actually run the test I've posted.. you will see that it clearly does happen. This is with absolutely no other addon running.. just Armory. I'm not here to speculate or cause problems.. but I can reproduce this 100% of the time on a completely new character running nothing other than Armory. If that doesn't prove to you that there is a problem, I don't know what will =/.

I didn't know that, I'll see if it is usable. If headers are missing or quests are not grouped I can't use it. I'll do some tests to see what can be done.

by expanding it you cause a QUEST_LOG_UPDATE which you then respond to doing the same thing over and over again
I'm pretty sure that won't happen. During the scan a lock is in place which prevents executing the same code again. With /ar debug you can see when the database is being updated (or if an update is blocked because of a lock). Also I only expand/collapse when a header was collapsed in the first place.

Any quests that are hidden are accessible at the indices about the first return from this function, albeit in an odd order.
