SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years
SBF 3.2 with clickable buffs

Wiky - got them, thanks!
Jaredheath - 1) The game client will tell you buffs you can apply (and so you can tell what buffs your own class can), but you can't get that information about other classes. You get no such information about debuffs. No buff addon will be able to do that without keeping a list of all buffs. 2&3) Nope... but it's an interesting idea 4) Yes. Sammael, nnkt - Yep, I'll get on that to fix. Out of curiosity, have you tried enabling the 1/10 seconds setting on the Timers tab to see if it keeps reporting correctly on the timer countdown?

I couldn't even get basic filters like textfilters on targets(!) to work. If no filtering is allowed on targets(!) I will stop trying. I don't want SBF to tell me if I can purge/dispell/etc specific buffs/debuffs on targets. I see that this(!) is not possible. I just want to create for example 5 frames for my target which include different types of buffs/debuffs. Is this possible for target-buffs? Yes or No? Is this possible for target-debuffs? Yes or No? Thanks in advance...

Re: minor help?
also the bars are not getting weird sized at expiring but i still notice wrong behaviour expecially on very short buffs. for example if i use thunderstomp racial of my tauren (2sec duration debuff applied on target), and have target debuffs showed in frame as bars, it will show bar which will expire smoothly from 0:02 to 0:01, then instantly moves to "expired" position while timer ticks the last sec

can this mod be made to do the following?
1 - group buffs and debuffs by the class that applied them 2 - collapse the groups into a single icon or other placeholder 3 - expand a group once moused over or clicked on to show all buffs / debuffs that belong to the grouping 4 - any ungrouped buff / debuff goes into another bucket that is entirely visible all the time. I'm looking to significantly reduce my buff/debuff screen space while keeping it functional and greatly increase my ability to know if the right debuffs are being applied by class. I cannot find anything so far that can approach this and I'm hoping this addon can as it appears to have the most robust setup I've seen

mmalficia - will look into those, thanks!
Thrillseeker - RTFM Chains - I don't know what addon you have that does that, but it isn't SBF. |

Buffs - Who's left?
Before the last update, when i mouseover on a Buff i have, at the end of the description, SBF was used to write down a list of ppl in the party / raid that doesn't have that specific buff i was mouseovering.
Now this doesn't work anymore...instead it list the player who casted that specific buff. can some one help me please? Thx a lot in advice |

I tried around a bit, but didn't find a solution. Is there any way to filter target- buffs/debuffs? I'd like to seperate them between uncategorized, magic, poison, etc.
Thanks in advance for any hint. |

minor help?
Hi all First Great addon (as well as digits)
second in the latest version 3.1.5 i seam to be haveing a problem with buff flowing settings, while i work on one frame and flow to the other (my castable buffs on player(frame1) debbuffs on player flowing into frame 1 ) right after all works as expected but : if i either close and reopen SBF options or chose another frame to work on the buff flowing disappeared and even the list for frame 1 is cleared under buffflowing tab or if i relog all my changes are gone (any existing flow timers stay but no new ones will flow properly(hope that all makes sense). and while not detrimental ide like to point out that if you try n move a frame either too far up or down the list it caused a hard crash in WOW , also theres a conflict somewhere between ellipsis and SBF (i was using ellipsis for cooldowns at one point but axed it in favor of SBF ) thanks for your time and for the addons its very much appreciated.

As of 3.1.5, the ha filter now uses the results of asking the game directly about debuffs you can dispel:
Code:
name, ... = UnitDebuff(unitID, index, removable) If you're a paladin, damn near everything counts since you can bubble. If you're a mage, slightly less than damn near everything counts since you can iceblock. It may also be a bugged result That doesn't rule out a bug in SBF, so I'll check!

ha Filter also seems to include debuffs which have no category like "Bested Ironforge", etc from the Argentum Tournament.

Cool! I'll check into that.
I came across this the other day - a blast from the past! (long before SBFOptions got split out into a separate addon)
