SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years

Re: Out of date?
I'm thinking SBF has problems with vehicles.
I got this error on my DK, but I'm noticing errors for SBF whenever I'm in vehicles. I have the "show buff options" for vehicles enabled, if that helps. Although this particular vehicle didn't have any buffs to show, but whatever. 1x SatrinaBuffFrame-3.1\SBFUtil.lua:15: attempt to index local 'v' (a boolean value) SatrinaBuffFrame-3.1\SBFBuff.lua:162: in function <SatrinaBuffFrame\SBFBuff.lua:156> SatrinaBuffFrame-3.1\SBFBuff.lua:315: in function `IterateAuras' SatrinaBuffFrame-3.1\SBFBuff.lua:202: in function `UpdateUnitAuras' SatrinaBuffFrame-3.1\SatrinaBuffFrame.lua:399: in function `Update' SatrinaBuffFrame-3.1\SatrinaBuffFrame.lua:392: in function `ForceGet' SatrinaBuffFrame-3.1\SatrinaBuffFrame.lua:372: in function `?' I tried search for this, but I had no luck.
I have my target buffs & debuffs in a flow, however I'd like the debuffs to start on a new row. Is this possible? |

How do I make just my rogue weapon effects (the poisons) filter/display on a custom bar?
Update: I think I figured it out

SBF has nothing to do with the buff durations in tooltips.

However, I haven't digged code and not saw how you are managing buff sorting internally, and it may be just what you did yourself... Let's say, we have a table of filters, and other table as cache. filterTable = { frame1 = { filter1, ... }, ... } cacheTable = { spellName = frameName, ... } Now, every new buff/debuff would be first checked against cache, and then passed to filters. if nil == cacheTable[spellName] then ...loop though filters... else ...just put spell into right place At least, it would speed up the name filters. |

Copy layout is on the list for 3.2 - I may have forgot to include it on the dev list though
Nice idea on the frame level filters.

May I suggest an enchancement that would be very helpful in setting up the addon?
Can you please add one more "copy" option? Namely, "copy layout from". I'm using same layout for all my characters, but being different classes, they are using different buffs to monitor in diferent frames. Also, it would be helpful, if we could be able to exclude auras went to some other frame. Without chaining, just something like Frame1: buff1, buff2 Frame2: buff3, buff4 Frame3: ~Frame1, ~Frame2 But not Frame1: buff1, buff2 Frame2: ~Frame1 Frame3: ~Frame2 (That would be a bad headache to code and prevent possible circular references)

Hm, possibly. SBF currently monitors the combat log for ENCHANT_APPLIED and ENCHANT_REMOVED events, which you would think should cover it. Since SBF already monitors UNIT_INVENTORY_CHANGED for other reasons, it's definitely worth looking at for sure, thanks!
