This is the long awaited update to TBag that fixes a number of bugs.
TBag is a WoW Addon that provides an alternative bag and bank interface. It was built by modifying Engbags an addon who has essnetially the same functionality is missing some of the features of TBag.
Talos the original author of Tbag his this to say about it when he released it:
"In addition to the auto-sorting you've come to know and love, I've added many new features, including searching for items (in mail, etc.) You can also see and use the original default UI bags, which have slots free overlaid on top of them. There are also many convenience features, like highlighting new items, colored spotlighting, and purchase bank bags without having to unload the addon. A visual edit mode allows you to rearrange categories to your taste, and an advanced customization window enables you to completely configure every aspect of TBag."
This is a modification of his 070123 release for WoW 2.0.3. The modifications were done by Shefki. See the Changelog file for details of the changes I made. The ToDo.txt file consists of ToDo items that were found in the original TBag release. Some of them are not terribly relevent to my my intentions, some I'm unclear on what he meant and others seem to have already been fixed. See my Todo List below.
Getting Started
TBag can only "see" something you've seen, so for every character:
1) Open your bags 2) Go to the bank 3) Check your mail 4) View your body 5) Open all your trade windows
This allows you to view the bag and bank contents of your characters at any time (sorted according to their trade skills) by clicking the name dropdown in the upper right. It also enables you to do a full item search from the search textbox just to the left of the name dropdown.

http://www.wowinterface.com/download...fo.php?id=4558 While TBag will compress and restack inventory I have no intention of ever making it organize things in the physical bags the way Mr Plow does. For one thing Mr Plow can do that and if you're using TBag you really don't care about the fragmentation issue. |

Right click in the blank space of the window you wish to change the sorting on, choose Advanced Configuration. Click Add New Cat. You'll see at the bottom of the window a new line with just UNKNOWN in the Category. Use the up arrow on the line to move it up between EQUIPPED_RING and EQUIPPED_ARMOR. Repeat this step adding all the lines below (note the subtype field is left blank) Code:
Category Keywords Tooltip_Search Type EQUIPPED_ARMOR_ALL EQUIPPED +%d+ All Resistances Armor EQUIPPED_ARMOR_ARCANE EQUIPPED +%d+ Arcane Resistance Armor EQUIPPED_ARMOR_FIRE EQUIPPED +%d+ Fire Resistance Armor EQUIPPED_ARMOR_FROST EQUIPPED +%d+ Frost Resistance Armor EQUIPPED_ARMOR_NATURE EQUIPPED +%d+ Nature Resistance Armor EQUIPPED_ARMOR_SHADOW EQUIPPED +%d+ Shadow Resistance Armor Once you have finished this click the Assign Cats button and close the configuration window. Now click on Resort. All the items that matched the new patterns will be in the lower right corner of the window now. Now type /console reloadui (note that this step won't be necessary after the next release; there was a bug in the assign new category code that I found earlier this week). Now click the edit button on the window. Right click on the box numbered one. One by one click on the new categories and move them wherever you want. You can put them in with your existing armor list. The categories will be listed in alphabetical order by the names of the category. The order in the configuration window determines the order in which an item is assigned to a category. This means that the configuration I just gave you will show all your non-resist gear, gear with resist to all, then gear with resist to arcane, fire, frost, nature and then shadow. The gear within the categories will be sorted by name assuming you have that option set for the target slot (right click on the numbered field in edit mode to change this). Armor that has multiple resistances will sort based upon the first one it matches by order. E.G. an item with +10 Fire and +10 Shadow will sort with Fire because Fire comes earlier in the list than Shadow. In a future update I plan to make Armor sort by slot in the default configuration using roughly the same setup just by slot instead of by resistance. You may have noticed that weapons and other armor is listed separately within the same category and trinkets and rings as well. This is just an expansion of that behavior. |

Well, TBag is working great in the new versions, as i expected of it. Although... it would be nice to be able to sort items into categories of +resistances, but that would probably make the windows just get too big. Never mind.
I look forward to the efficiency improvements! |

Re: Soul Bags
I suspect there is a stacking issue here. But any additional information you can provide me can help me find and fix this. |

20070925 is posted (though it make take a bit for wowinterface to approve it). This update is really only a compatability fix with 2.2.0 with some very minor bug fixes. Note that some users may find their bag and bank windows moved, this is due to a change in the game code. If you can't get to the lock/unlock button right click in some blank space and click on the Lock Window menu option to unlock the window. As always with major updates the item cache has been reset, icons for other characters may not show fully until you have logged into all of your characters again. Users who ran the beta for the PTR don't need to update this release is identical to that beta.
* 2007-09-25-Shefki - Bump interface version to match 2.2.0. - Changes required to make tooltips function properly with 2.2.0. - Fixes to the bank due to changes in the Blizzard bank implementation. - Do not open the bank bag frames when not actually at the bank on OpenAllBags(). - Try to avoid sound lag issues from multiple blizzard bag frames opening. Caused by an apparent bug in the 2.2.0 sound system, which I've reported, but at least try to avoid excercising the bug. - Upped max bag size to 40 slots since there are now 36 slot bags on the PTR (at least for premades). - Fixed: When show blizzard bag frames was enabled and you were viewing another characters inventory clicking on a bag button would open the bag even though it was the current characters bag not the character you were viewing. - Rework processing of clicks due to the new modifier key system in 2.2.0. |

Soul Bags
I totally love this addon and have been using it for a very long time. I have to wonder though... am I the only one with issues when trying to use a soul bag? My soul shards auto-remove themselves from the soul bags with a list of 'That item doesn't go in that container.' messages. If any, only a few of the shards stay in a bag and the others are hogging up slots from my other items. Unfortunately, I've resigned myself to putting my soul bag in the bank and using a regular bag to hold my shards. I have a 12- and a 20- slot soul bag and they both throw the shards out. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

This is most definitely not caused by other addons. I've been looking into the problem and I have several things I can do to resolve the problem. A release sometime soon will have this issue resolved. Probably, not the next release but very likely the one after that. Next release will probably be just a 2.2.0 compatibility update as I want a release that has only compatibility changes from the current 2.1.x addon to the 2.2.x addon. This should avoid any major changes creating larger issues that would leave people without a version to move back to until I could fix it. |

Ah, good old TBag. It's truly wonderfully convenient. But of course, i wouldn't be posting if there weren't one little thing that bothers me.
I don't suppose there's any way to reduce the pause that occurs whenever either 1) you open the TBag window or 2) anything in your inventory changes while the window is open? I expect TBag has a lot to do when inventory changes in order to display things in the right places, but the pause starts to drive me nuts whenever i'm mass mailing or -- heaven forbid -- changing my equipment with the inventory window open. Or perhaps i'm the only one who experiences this? I wouldn't put it past my other addons to be interacting to create this situation. |

Beta for 2.2.0 PTR
I've posted a beta for the 2.2.0 PTR. This beta will only work on the PTR right now, do not try and use it on live. Since there's no way to post a version here without making it the default download I've only posted the beta on curse. You can find it at:
http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/8064/ Feedback is appreciated either here or curse. |
