Re: recently reacquired Tom Tom is too big! And help?
/run TomTomCrazyArrow:SetHeight(42); TomTomCrazyArrow:SetWidth(56) That's the same height and width that it's almost always been, so run that and see if that changes it. TomTom does not and will not change this on its own.

recently reacquired Tom Tom is too big! And help?
Tom Tom got turned off somehow, either from being emulated by Carbonite or whatever happened. I turned is back on and it's way too big of a size for both the Arrow and the text, but I can't find anything in the options to make the arrow and text smaller. Is this possible that there's an option I'm missing to re size the arrow and text, or go back to the emulation via Carbonite which I can't remember if Carbnite needs Tom Tom or the emulation needs Tom Tom to be installed. I've never seen a way point arrow and distance text this annoyingly large that will block click space and visually get in the way. Anyone who knows that I'm talking about to resize the arrow and text in TomTom to help me out?

I got it going. Just overwrote the install. Don't know what could have been going on there, but it's going now. Appreciate the quick replies.

Can you /dump TomTom.version to make sure you're on the latest version? I don't know any reason why this isn't working, because it is supposed to :-)

edit: scratch all that. Reinstalled the addon and now it's working. Must have spazzed out somehow.
Thanks, and appreciate the reply. Here is what I have set up, the settings associated with it, and what is going on: So using /way xx,yy I've set a couple dozen waypoints. Clear Waypoint Distance set to 5 Waypoint arrow is set to: Automatically Set Waypoint Arrow Automatically set to next closest waypoint. Arrival Distance 15 Yards All waypoints are in the current zone. Behavior as it stands now, I can fly to the waypoint it's currently pointing to, sit on it. It says I'm 0 to 1 yard away from it, yet it perpetually points to that waypoint. I'd like it to acknowledge that I'm at that waypoint, according to settings, I'm less than 5 yards away so clear it, and point me to the next closest.

"Automatically set waypoint arrow" under crazy arrow options "Automatically set closest waypoint" under crazy arrow options You can also run /cway to set the crazy arrow to the closest waypoint. All of this assumes you have multiple waypoints already set. TomTom won't automatically create any waypoints unless you've asked it to, so if you could give me some more information that would be useful.

How do you go about setting this to jump to the next closest waypoint? Went through the options, set the automatically clear waypoint slider to 5 yards.
I can't even manually jump to the next waypoint. Clearing the current waypoint just breaks the arrow, makes it disappear, and it doesn't come back unless I reset the addon. Unfortunately servers are down right now so I can't poke around with it some more or reinstall it, however if there is an obvious option I should look for when I get back on, what would that be? I didn't see any option called "Automatically set waypoint arrow" like I do in the screenshot. |

I'm missing something
I'll go ahead an admit that I'm suffering from a bad case of the dumb right now, but for the life of me I cannot set custom waypoints via mouse clicks.
I know when I used Tomtom a year ago that you could simply click on the mini map and it would set a waypoint. Now when I click, I hear a chiming sound and see a golden circle show up on the map, but no actual waypoint is set. I don't have any other add-ons installed so it can't be a confliction and I downloaded the latest version. What am I doing wrong? Thanks! |

Re: Permanent waypoints?
Code:
TomTom:AddMFWaypoint(mapId, floorId, x, y, {cleardistance = 0})

Permanent waypoints?
Is there currently a way to create waypoints that won't be automatically removed once you reach the destination? I find myself constantly having to recreate waypoints for destinations I need to check frequently, but setting the auto remove value to 0 to disable deletion is problematic because there are only some waypoints I'd like to keep around.
I'm hoping there is some sort of flag I've missed or something. |
