TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.
TomTom offers the following major features:
/way 14.78 23.90
/way Nagrand 45 50
/way 14.78 23.90 This is a waypoint!
/way reset all
/way reset Nagrand
/wayb Here
/wayback
/cway
/closestway

Because it's saved using Blizzard's position saving mechanism and so that's what happens.
I'd accept a patch set that upgrades it to use LibWindow-1.1 and stored the positions in the saved variables, but I haven't found time to do that yet.

Configuration resetting when addon is disabled and re-enabled
Hello,
Can someone please tell me why this addon's configuration always gets reset whenever the addon is disabled and then re-enabled? Specifically, the positions of the coordinate block and waypoint arrow always get reset, even though the locks are set to supposedly prevent motion. Thank you. |

It works for one character, and doesn't work for another. Then it doesn't work again for third character. I'm starting to think it has something to do with phasing and quests. |

So you're saying it doesn't work for the zone that you're in?

It seems, I'm unable to place waypoints in Uldum by zone name.
Code:
/way Uldum 53.4 32
If there'd be a way to address map by map ID (f.e. "/way #720 50 50"), I would gladly use that addressing, instead of trying to be creative with shortening zone names. Especially when zone name can't be shortened at all ("Mount Hyjal", f.e., which also matches "The Battle for Mount Hyjal", if you chop even a single letter from any side of it.) |

Seems something is wrong with the fuzzy search. I'll see what I can do.

Line 996 of TomTom.lua will cover most cases.

Coord Block Display
I apologize if this question has been asked, but 2500 comments over many pages lead me to asking here.
Is there an easy (simple) way to change the Coordinate Block's X Y separator (currently a comma [,]) to a forward slash [/] (diagonal)? I looked through TomTom.lua, TomTom_Config.lua and the Saved Variables file (TomTom.lua) but could not find what I was looking for. Thank you for providing a great product. Regards, Kyp |
