SimpleMinimap is a complete minimap replacement, allows removal of any/ all buttons/ location bars. Can place the map where you want, change the size and shape, move/size the the coordinates....there are a lot of options with this mod.
Hmm, heres a silly question....since no one is updating it now..with your talent already...do what the Borg to and ASSIMILATE !! hehe |

The arrow which appears when defined waypoint goes out of range of the minimap display doesnt work correctly when "Rotate Minimap" option in Interface Options is enabled. The arrow doesnt follow minimap rotations and always stays in same place where it appeared first.
r30 version.

Adding this just in case others run into this problem. Latest releases of Cartographer are here: http://files.wowace.com/Cartographer/ |

TomTom-r30 and Cartographer-2.1.0-r36223
Running TomTom-r30 and Cartographer-2.1.0-r36223 when I click coordinates from the wowhead comments I get the following messages:
TomTom: Setting a waypoint at 13.00, 47.00 in The Hinterlands. LightHeaded: LightHeaded waypoints are not supported in this version of Cartographer_Waypoints. This happens regardless if waypoints are enabled in Cartographer. Any help? |

I'm thinking because I want to utilize drop downs to improve useability/friendliness (and cut back on user error), I would do something like... "(whatever code needed to provide the drop down, and it's name) = A, let A = C, let B = Z," etc. etc.? I basically would have to tell it that the dropdown equates to the C or Z portion of the TomTom:AddZWaypoint(c,z,x,y,desc) ? Any other questions I'll try asking in IRC but for now, I am happy you've provided that info It may not be a pretty plugin, but I think it'll be a fun challenge. |

All I can really provide is:
TomTom:AddZWaypoint(c,z,x,y,desc) TomTom:AddWaypoint(x,y,desc) You call those functions, the waypoint will be added. There's nothing else that needs to be/could be provided on my side of things, and I'm not horribly familiar with the way FuBar plugins are implemented that would help you.

So Clad...
I was thinking about writing my first "addon" but it would really be a FuBar plugin for TomTom. Given that I've never done this before - I was wondering if I would need to edit anything in TomTom itself (as is) to get it to recognize the plugin? If so, would you be able to point me in the direction of the resource(s) to utilize that could answer some more question I might have as a result? I'm sure if I DID need to edit anything in TomTom as it currently exists, there'd be a reason and a document detailing why and how, etc. Basically my idea is having a very basic design implemented that would allow the user to select a continent, a zone, and then have two entry fields: one for X and one for Y. It owuld be displayed in a height vs. width proportion (whereby the continent selection appears in a drop down above the zone selection's drop down - and then to the right of those drop downs is the two entry fields X and Y). I was also curious if you have implemented anything under the hood that determines whether a waypoint was manually created or generated from a click in LightHeaded? The most basic way I can think of this would be akin to creating notes in MapNotes and setting one of the info lines to "temp" or some predetermined word. Performing a search against the created notes looking for "temp" would result in all those notes being solely manipulated there on out. So herpahs some way to determine if the user entered a note manually either via command line or the FuBar plugin? Reason being - it'd be nice to have the ability to clear all created waypoints via the FuBar plugin itself. This button would appear underscoring all the drop downs and the entry fields. If the user did not opt to select a continent/zone, it would default to the current continent/zone. Just sharing my idea on a plugin - I wouldn't expect you to write one unless you wanted to. I just thought it would be something you should know I am interested in trying out and would love any feedback (if any).
