TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.
TomTom offers the following major features:
/way 14.78 23.90
/way Nagrand 45 50
/way 14.78 23.90 This is a waypoint!
/way reset all
/way reset Nagrand
/wayb Here
/wayback
/cway
/closestway

With this latest version of TomTom the crazy arrow keeps disappearing. I use TourGuide and it automatically sets the crazy arrow for me and it always worked great before, now the arrow stays around for a minute or so then disappears..and I haven't updated TourGuide so I'm guessing its TomTom.
I also use nQuestLog, but I doubt that has anything to do with it since it is just a quest minion that improves on Blizzards default Quest Tracker. |

I'm also seeing issues with r163. Doubtful it's an add-on conflict as TomTom worked perfectly until this update and I didn't see anything else update. Symptoms for me:
- Right click a node and select "Set as waypoint arrow", and TomTom now ignores me completely and leaves whatever it had selected as the arrow - Right click the crazy arrow and select "Clear waypoint from crazy arrow", and within a second or two the arrow pops back up with that same waypoint - So at this point, TomTom is stuck showing me a crazy arrow for a waypoint that I don't want to go to yet, and I can't change it or clear it. So tonight I was back to opening the world map to see where the waypoints are, and manually heading in that direction. FYI, I was in Zangarmarsh all night, if that makes any difference. I didn't see the behavior change when moving between zones/subzones. BTW: I don't use Cartographer or Tour Guide -- just LightHeaded/TomTom and no other map mods other than Gatherer, which is disabled at present anyway. I did try clearing all waypoints and adding them back in, which didn't help. I'll try downgrading to r162 to see if that solves the problems. Edit: Going back to r162 solved the problems I was seeing. Behavior seems normal with that build. Edit2: I don't see the issue everyone else is reporting, where waypoints actually disappear. They are staying for me just fine. It's just the crazy arrow that refuses to behave.

I'm experiencing the same issue with r163. Waypoints disppear on zone/subzone transitions, as well as when opening/closing the world map. I've been able to reproduce the problem consistently using the following steps:
1. Disable all addons other than TomTom. 2. Delete TomTom saved variables. 3. Log in. 4. Create a waypoint. Open the world map or move to another zone or subzone. The waypoint correctly persists. 5. Open the options panel and disable the "Save new waypoints until I remove them" setting. 6. Create a waypoint. 7. Open the world map. The waypoint disappears. 8. Create a waypoint. 9. Move to another subzone. The waypoint disappears. The problem is definitely caused by disabling the "Save" option. |

What I'm seeing using Tour Guide 2.4.3.33 and R163 of TomTom is that the waypoints do get added and the arrow displays, but a subzone change removes the waypoint. I was able to reproduce this several times in Winterspring (first out of Winterfall village going to Starfall, then from Starfall towards the ruins) with TourGuides automatic waypoints.
Edit to add that I'm running Cart 79053 as well, but I don't think it's related.

I can't get Questhelper to display waypoints anymore. They flash on and off really fast or don't display at all.
Questhelper 0.47.19-alternate TomTom R163 Did anything change that would cause this that you can think of? I'll keep investigating and let you know if I find anything. [EDIT]Verified that this does not occur with R162.[/EDIT]

Guys, I really need you to do basic troubleshooting:
1. Make a new character on a new server 2. Disable all addons except TomTom 3. See if you can reproduce the problem 4. If not, find me a reproducable case with version X of Addon Y, for example. Also try clearing the waypoints you have set with a /way reset. I thought I had a reproducable case for this, but it turns out I can't find one. I'm using the version of TomTom downloaded from this site with TourGuide and it works just fine. I also tried with Cart3 without any issues, so i'll need more information in order to fix anything.

I'm having this issue too but I'm using Mapster instead of Cart as my map addon. The waypoints and arrow pointer stays on screen until I open up the map then both promptly disappears.
I'm not sure if it matters but I'm using TourGuide as well.

Actually, it doesn't seem like that's the issue. Could you try resetting all waypoints to see if that helps to fix the issue? I think it still might have issues when interacting with Cart2/Cart3 (the crazy arrow in particular) but I am trying to work out those issues.
Actually, I see no issues with Cart3 at all. Can you guys let me know more info about your setups? I feel like i'm taking crazy pills here :P

The same is happening to me also. I am using the most recent version. I have tomtom set up to announce waypoints being set in chat. I see the text. The waypoint may or may not flash on the screen. I have even done a reset. reload. reload and a reset. It does not fix this. There are no errors being generated in bugsack either.

An optinal arrow back to ones corpse would be so nice.
and can you add support for: /way x,y (, being the separator) Any chance of a /tloc and /loc alias?
